STUFF for "Bart to the Future" (BABF13)

Written by Dan Greaney
Directed by Michael Marcantel
Blackboard: "NON-FLAMMABLE" IS NOT A CHALLENGE
Couch: A bouncer lets everybody but Homer onto the couch (repeat of
AABF19)
Also Starring: Pamela Hayden, Tress MacNeille, Karl Wiedergott
Overseas Animation: Rough Draft; Chang, Myung Nam
Rating: TV-PG
REVIEW: B-minus - episodes set in the future have so many
possibilities, but this episode went nowhere. Bart's a slob - Lisa
is President - Bart messes things up for Lisa - Homer does something
stupid - Lisa sends Bart off somewhere - Bart comes back to save
Lisa's butt - end of story. Why not something different, like having
Maggie's daughter speak?

DO "BART TO THE FUTURE" AND "LISA'S WEDDING" REPRESENT THINGS THAT
WILL NECESSARILY HAPPEN?
Well, the "Lisa's Wedding" answer is "not any more" - the wedding
was on August 1, 2010, which meant that Lisa was in college in
the spring of 2010 - but as she's still in second grade in 2000,
it's more than likely she wouldn't have graduated from high school
yet (especially as Marge won't let her skip grades)

She'd be 18 years old which is more than old enough to be in college
without skipping grades.

Actually, in the Complete Guide To The Simpsons it says it aired March
26th 1995.

My sister had very thin hair when she was a baby and it did not get thick
until she got a hair cut for the first time when she was 4. Ralph, being
only 5 (according to Simpsons Bible Stories) may have the same problem.

Methinks it is a joke to how many people actually participate in the
political process or maybe something more dire. After all thanks to Trump
our country seems to be in very bad shape.

who said that was the first time they shot that frisbee?

I think it's a fool's errand to try to reconcile the dates between these two
episodes. The former episode assumed that Lisa was eight in 1995. This one
assumes she was eight in 2000, so any calculations will automatically be
five years off.
>...the poll only adds up to 97%?
It reminds me of the fine print they put at the bottom of polls, "Totals may
not add up to 100%."
>...the Chinese representative at the metting sounded like Kahn from

Say, who voices Kahn, anyway? I half expected to see his name in the
credits.

That'd be Toby Huss. He does the voices of both Cotton Hill (Hank's
obnoxious father) and Kahn Souphanousinphone (Hank's obnoxious neighbor).
Ever see "The Adventures of Pete & Pete?" It was this quirky (but very
funny) show that Nickelodeon used to carry. Toby Huss used to play Artie,
the Strongest Man in the World, on that show. Very weird.

Before you buy.
According to the imdb, http://us.imdb.com/Title?0118375 the voice of
Kahn is provided by Toby Huss. FWIW, he also does the voice of Cotton,
Hank's father.
And I didn't realize it before, but Huss is the same guy who played Jack
("I'm the Wiz, and *nobody* beats me!") in the Seinfeld episode where
Kramer tries to get the Post Office to stop delivering his mail.

Sorry to change the topic so fast, but while we're talking KoTH here,
doesn't Macy Grey (singer of "I Try") sound a lot like a sedated Luann
from KoTH?
