I'm curious to find out if Krusty the Clown's superfluous nipple was
"inspired" by Marky Mark's.

So whose superfluous nipple came first? Krusty or Marky?

Its also possible that it was inspired by the professional killer
Scaramonga in the James Bond movie Man With the Golden Gun, who had a
third nipple. (I haven't read the original Fleming novel so I can't say
if the book character also possessed this feature.)

I think The Man with the Golden Gun's came first.

I believe Krusty's nipple is a reference to villain Scaramanga's third
nipple in James Bond movie "The Man with the Golden Gun"

I would have thought that Anne Boleyn's predated Scaramonga's considerably.

I'd have to put Samuel Taylor Coleridge's CHRISTABEL before The
Man With the Golden Gun.

What I really want to know is: Why, when people say the word
"superfluous", do they invariably pronounce it "soo-purr-full-us"?

These are the same people who pronounce "nuclear", "noo-kue-ler".

How about the villain from "The Man with the Golden Gun" (wasn't his name
"Katanga"? Or am I thinking of another James Bond movie...)

I think it was inspired by James Bond movies (or novels).

Functionally, yes. As erogenous zones, NO! (I'll keep mine, thank you).

"Scaramanga". "Katanga" was in "You only live twice". Boy, I _am_
obsessed with Bond movies... =)
