Can someone please help me, this has been driving me crazy.
I remember one episode (I think in the last season), which there is a
conversation about garages, and how some people in Springfield called
them 'Car Holes'. I remember Moe being involved in the conversation, and
I think Grandpa. I can't remember any more, and it's driving me crazy.
Can someone please tell me which episode this was ? Please ?

That was the episode "Marge on the Force", or something like that when
she becomes a police officer, and Marvin runs an illegal jeans ring out
of the Simpson Car Hole

The episode where Marge became a Cop. I don't know the title of
the episode or the code but it was during a poker game. Homer said
something about Herman going to the garage a lot and then Moe made some
commment about what a fancy name "garage" is. Something like that.

That was "The Springfield Connection", episode #2F21.

No way. I can't believe it was car hold. It's just nowhere near as funny
that way. The episode I'm pretty sure was Marge becomes a cop. Homer
says he's got more beer in the garage and in there he finds the illegal
jeans importing ring. Then Marge comes home.

It was in the episode where Marge became a cop. Moe and Homer and the
guys from the bar were playing poker and that dude with one arm from
the army-navy surplus store goes into the garage (where he is running
his counterfeit jeans scam), and Homer says he is going to check the
garage, and Moe says, "Oooh, a garage, well excuse me, Mr. French
speaking aristocrat" (or something like that) and Homer says, "What do
you call it?"
"A car hold."
Really?? I have to go with the option first presented, a Car HOLE, although
English is not my mother tongue. And what's so funny about Moe saying it's
a car hold? (compared to car hole)?

Ahh, the great "hole/hold" debate. I knew that this newsgroup would get
back on track once the new season started. A whole summer without this
rabid argument taking place. The horror, the horror.

P.S. It's "car hole"

This is almost as bad as the infamous "Mmmm, floor pie" vs "Oooh! Floor
pie" debate. (BTW, it is a "car hole" -- "car hold" just doesn't make
sense to me. And it's "Oooh! Floor pie." Just killing two birds with
one stone here.)

Hey, there's a counterfeit jeans operation going on in my
carhold/carhole"
Whatever, I personally think that it's carhold but if you guys/gals
really wanna know, write to the people that make the official simpsons
site.

It's car-hole
Listen to Moe
Moe: "Oh, mister fancy, a 'garage'"
Homer: "What do you call it?"
Moe:

Mmmmm. Floor pie.
Just kidding.
Yes. It IS Car Hold; it sounds as if Moe's using police terminology,
which may have been part of the joke when Homer saw the counterfeit
jeans and (in the spirit of the whole police theme) called it a car
hold.

That was the episode where marge joins the police... Home, Moe, Barney, and
herman are playing poker in the kitchen. the scene goes something like
this:
(Herman leaves the room)
Homer: Wow, he sure was keen to go to the garage.
Moe: Garage? Well, oo la de da Mr. Frenchman.
Homer: Well, what do you call it then?
Moe: A car hole.
[Cut to scene of Homer entering the garage]
OH NO! A counterfeit jeans ring operating out of my car hole!

It's definitely car hole, I think. To go with Chief Wiggum's "Shut your
word hole!"
Any other Simpson -holes? No obscenities, please.
