Reminds me of something that happened last fall... A guy looked for someone
to submit reviews to his Simpsons website, and I took the position. But he
rejected reviews he said were "too different from his own opinions on them"
(i.e., a review that gave "Fear of Flying" a 4/10, and pointed out the
Homer-looks-for-a-new-bar and Marge-acts-crazy scenes were why it never
appears on anyone's "worst episodes ever" list). After I signed his
guestbook asking "Why don't you remove the dozens of banners from your front
page?", he sent me a stern letter saying, "I will no longer take any more
reviews from you. Do not send me any more e-mails. You are not my friend,
because my friends don't criticize my web site." Plus, he removed all the
reviews he'd already put up, and put a note in the guestbook saying, "Please
ignore this jerk. I've never taken reviews from him, and I've never had
reviews at this site. I've never even spoken to him before."
PS. If you feel upset about him, I know his site was called "The Simpsons
Funhouse".
