I just saw the Mr. Sparkle episode (Homer looks like the character on a
box of Japanese dishwashing soap) and saw something strange. The video
homer receives appears different then what was shown during the first
run. Was this episode "sanitized" for some reason? I definitely did
not remember this part of the episode.

Thanx!
Robert

I wouldn't be surprised. They do it to other episodes. In the
one where Bart and Lisa become the Flanders' foster kids, Bart
got lice from Milhouse's monkey -- a monkey that was found in a
basket bought at Pier 1 -- an actual store. In syndication, the
name of the store is sometimes changed to "Trader Pete's." (Is
*that* an actual store in the States?)

I've also noticed in the Simpsons/Critic crossover, two things
have been changed (at least here in Canada)...
1) When Jay Sherman meets Marge's sisters, his, "Ahhh!" is
muted
2) Eudora's burp, followed by Krusty's, "Coming Eudora..." is
also muted (which is strage since Jay's wonderful burp
remains untouched).
