Has Bongo, Binky, Sheba, Akbar, Jeff, Abe, or that other little guy made
any kind of appearance on any Simpsons episode? On a t-shirt or
ANYTHING??? I'd always kind of like to see an animated short of Life In
Hell, with the black ink on white background and everything.

This is going to be annoyingly vague, but...in at least one episode there's a
scene where we see a baby's doll that's clearly in the shape of Binky. I can't
for the life of me remember if it's Maggie's, or in one of the Bart/Lisa as a
baby flashback eps, though...

I can't recall seeing them in The Simpsons (though I bet they're there)
but Maggie used to play with Binky and Bongo dolls in the Tracey Ullman
short episodes.

Someone already said about the Binky doll that Maggie had, I think... I
don't know, but I would guess that they would be MUCH more likely in the
Tracey Ullman shorts/earliest seasons, if so.

I do remember a LiH cartoon where you see Bart on a TV screen, though.

I've asked that question several times on this NG, hoping against hope that
the writers who aren't supposed to be reading the NG will spot my little
query and start thinking about it, setting the wheels in motion for at
least a quick sight gag. Alas, to no avail. However, in one episode there
was a Bongo doll in Maggie's crib, if that counts for anything (I don't
remember which ep). Wouldn't it be cool if the Flanders went on vacation
and decided to rent out their house to Akbar and Jeff?

Oh well. We can all keep hoping.

And on "Homer Gets a Triple By-Pass" Homer's finger puppets look a lot
like Akbar and Jeff.

Wasn't there a Bongo doll in Bart's toy chest during the episode when Marge invites
Ralph Wiggum over for a "play date"?

Well, I've always felt that Marge looks suspiciously like Sheba. Don't
you ever wonder why she wears that beehive hairdo, or why you never see
the two of them together?

I think Bongo appeared in an episode as a doll that maggie had. Not 100%
sure, though.
