On tonights Sopranos, Tony, Paulie and Sylvio were talking about people who
died on the toilet and Sylvio said: "A guy who was a producer for the
Simpsons died like that, his name was Don...something."

Anybody know who this Don guy is?

Flashdance, etc. Partner of Jerry Bruckheimer and known for his excess.

And am I the only person on the planet who doesn't like The Sopranos? It just
seems like re-hashed scenes from "Goodfellas", "Casino", "Godfather Trilogy",
etc...nothing original.

"seems like"? have you watched more than, say, one episode?

the sopranos is as much a family drama as it is a mob drama, and violence
isn't really shoved down the viewers' throats. it's quite a "human" story.

Actually, no, I only watched it once and got bored. Plus they use all the same
actors from every mob movie. Except for Mr. Show, HBO original programming is
garbage.

i agree and disagree.

"mr. show" kept me up many nights busting a gut, slapping a knee. i wonder
what ever became of their movie? at least we have david cross as donny on
"just shoot me."

as for the other programs, i must admit i quite enjoy "sex and the city"
and "the sopranos," really liked "the chris rock show" when it was on, and
i can take or leave "oz" and "dennis miller live."

the less said about "arliss" and "g-string divas" the better.
