Wifey is a 1978 Judy Blume book that, unlike most of her books
beforehand (which usually focused on kids and teenagers), focused on
adult issues. The book tells the tale of New Jersey housewife who,
bored of her current life, tries to add some spice to it via having an
affair with an old boyfriend from high school, a relationship that
becomes complicated after she discovers that her own husband may be
cheating on him as well.
