Why do ppl in the media label Simpsons as a kids show i mean how many kids
out there would pick up on the joke in the king homer story (halloween
special) Smithers: "Women and seamen dont mix" Burns: "Well we all know
what you think"
and the loads of film references example: Pulp fiction, The Shining both R
rated films.

That reminds me of a girl I knew in fourth or fifth grade. She was an
extremely fundamentalist Christian. I mentioned The Simpsons to her, and
she said, "Isn't that that one porno cartoon?"
