I remember him primarily from commercials for Anheuser-Busch
Natural Light ("Just say Natural").

His whole act was something like this:

Host: Please welcome Raymond Jay Johnson Jr.
RJ: You don't have to call me Raymond Jay Johnson Jr. You can call me
Ray, or you can call me Jay, or you can call me Jr., or you can call me
Ray Jay, or you can call me Raymond, or you can call me Johnson, (ETC.),
but you doesn't have to call me Raymond Jay Johnson, Jr.
He was in movies and talk shows and commericials and all he did was the
same routine.

He was a regular on the old Sonny and Cher show, but I can't recall
his real name. Billy Seluga rings a bell. I'm pretty sure he is
*not* the same guy who was also on that show (a writer) and looked
a bit like Sonny. That guy was the Unknown Comic later on.

And if I'm not mistaken, his fame came from an appearance on 'The Gong
Show'. Hows that for dating myself?? Yuck.
