Anyone else out there use Simpsons sounds for their windows alerts?

I have:
Krusty's laugh - Windows Start
"Kiss my curvy butt go-oodbye!" - Windows Shutdown
Barneys Burp - critical stop
"TRAMOPOLINE" - exclamation
Homer saying "Ma-arge?" - Question
Homer's "Woohoo" - Asterisk (never hear this one - what's asterisk?)
"Daaw" - Default beep

It doesn't half cheer you up when your machine goes ballistic.

I use all sorts of different sounds. I change them a lot too, else it
gets rather annoying. It's a good idea for anyone who's sick of those
chimes and dings all over the place.

Nothing ever will. That's the beauty of windows.

Andrew- I've got some Simpsounds on my desktop, but I don't have "kiss my curvy
butt goodbye". I'd really appreciate you e-mailing it to me, if it's not too
much trouble...
PS- I've got no idea what the heck asterisk is either. Sorry.

I have Nelson's laugh as my "critical stop", and Ralph saying "I bent
my wookie" as my Startup sound. :)

I use "Damnation!" "Ay No es Beunos" and "You call this a supercomputer"
When my computer boots up (Starts Win95) - "Ooh a head bag, those are chock
full of heady goodness." and when it shuts down: "Woo-hoo"

I'm going to add "Aye Carumba" and "Doh" (I hear "You call this a
supercomputer" way too much).

Anyhoo , I have a friend who uses 'Welcome, ah Smithers, fresh victims for my
army of the undead,' 'Sir, you've got to let go of the button,' 'well
sonofabit"

Michael C

Hello Smithers you are quite good at turning me on.
Um, you probably should ignore that.

And me?? I've got :

D'oh (of course) - Default Beep.
Krusty's "Aw crap!" - Error ( perfect for "unable to connect to server)
McBain's "Maybe you all are homosexuals too" - Question
McBain's "Ice to See You" - File Transfer Start
Han's "Oh Dear. Now You've Done it." - File Done.
Nelson's "Ha-ha" (of course) - for a Critical Stop.

(My Windows Start, Open Program, and Windows Exit are taken up by Reservoir Dogs
sounds.)

BTW, in Douglas Coupland's newest book, Microserfs, he makes reference to
the Simpsons THREE times, including one in which a character mentions his
computer using Homer's "D'oh" as an error sound.

Homer's D'OH! for error messages
Bart's "Ah! The system works!" for Windows Startup
Homer's "That's it, I'm outta here" for Windows shutdown
Homer's "The mail! The mail is here!" for getting my e-mail.

and I even use Simpson sounds instead of AOL's sounds for AOL

I use "No time for that now, the computer is starting"(Homer) for the
start-up(obviously), I use D'oh for Critical stop, "Please come
again"(Apu) for leaving Windows.

I'd love to get hold of these myself - an email would be much
appreciated!

I have:
Homer: <punch> Arghh, ewww! (madHomer.wav) for critical stop
Homer: "No time for that - the computer's starting!" - startup
Homer: "Kiss my hairy yellow butt" - shutdown
Homer: <toilet flush several times> "Marge, someone broke the toilet"
- empty trash

and of course the mandatory "D'oh!"

Here's couple I find cool.(I use both, of course)

Windows start: Homer saying:
"To start press any key. Where's the any key??"
Windows shutdown: Apu saying:
"Please, come again!"
