3/14 - SPECIAL THURSDAY DOUBLE FEATURE
9:00 - Lisa the Tree Hugger (CABF01)
Attracted to a young man leading a "Dirt First" boycott of Krusty
Burger, Lisa tries to save Springfield's largest redwood tree...by
living in it
9:30 - Pokey Mom (CABF05)
While at a prison rodeo, Marge takes a prisoner (who's also a
first-class artist) under her wing
3/18 - A Tale of Two Springfields (BABF20)
The Who (well, at least some of them) guest voice after Homer
organizes a split of Springfield into two towns after it receives
a second area code
3/25 - PRE-EMPTED
Fox is airing the movie "True Lies"
This isn't the first time "True Lies" has pre-empted The Simpsons; it
happened 9/14/1997.
By my count, there are six new episodes left this season (there may
only be five), and assuming three will be shown in May and no episode
on April 29 because of "Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace", that
leaves three new episodes and four Sundays in which to show them.
Upcoming "Futurama" Episodes
-----------------------------------------------------------
3/11 - Luck of the Fryrish (3ACV04)
When Fry starts suffering from bad luck, he goes in search of his
old good luck charm - and recalls a few things about his brother
as well
3/18 - The Honking (2ACV18)
Bender turns into a "werecar" and roams the streets at midnight
looking for victims to run over, forcing Fry and Leela to seek out
the cure - at the "Anti-Chrysler" plant

For those of you outside the USA, that's not "Mapril 9, 1997" - we
like putting the month first

Wow - I've known for a long time about the wealth of information you know, but
this is unusually surprisiong: where do you keep\find such records as the
history of pre-empting?

I was confused tonight: have we known all along that "Fry" is his surname, or
did that just come out tonight?

Fox is airing the movie "True Lies" (Fox is not about to "waste" a
new episode against the Academy Awards)
4/1 - Simpson Safari (CABF13)
Tom Kane guest voices as Darwin the chimpanzee from "The Wild
Thornberrys" as </APRIL FOOL> (okay, I know it's still March, but
I couldn't hold out)
Seriously, the Simpsons win a trip to Africa, where they end up in
the crossfire between a chimpanzee researcher and poachers

4/1 - The Cyber House Rules (3ACV09)
At a reunion at Leela's orphanage, Leela gets a second eye from
a doctor who was the bully when they grew up, while Bender,
enticed by a government credit, adopts 12 kids

Then again, I wouldn't put it past somebody to sneak at least one of
"The Wild Thornberrys" in somewhere - after all, one of that show's
regulars (Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers) has already been on The
Simpsons...

Really now, Don, are we supposed to believe that?

If only the original animation company was still around, then the April Fool's

I think that it is a legit description of 4/1's Futurama.

Fine, rob me of my pathetic attempt at comedy... ;)
