Rita and the baby?????

I hope they do some follow up on Chris and Rita's baby. I would also like
to see what Rita is doing with her new life. I wonder if their would be
any chance in bringing back Rita as an assistant to Cap. or to Donavan.
Possibly just another job in the departmant. I don't think that Mitzi is
involved in any other work right now. Maybe she could be brought back for
the second half of the season.
Just a hopeful thought. Please post what you think about this!!!!

I agree, they definitely need to bring up Rita & the baby at some point.
Of course it would be great if they visited but I would be happy just to
hear what she was up to (and what she named the baby... :) Maybe they
will at christmas - hopefully Capt. will get a christmas card and
photo's from Rita (writers are you listening?... :)
Also, while I don't miss Holly & Michael that much I think they should
also should have at least MENTIONED where they went... I can assume
Michael went back to Chicago, but I doubt she went there with him...
On another note, I had never heard of Janet before but thing she does
very well w/Chris. I have only seen Chris in Kung Fu:TLC and it is very
distracting as I keep waiting for him to karate kick or flip someone
(like at the end of the premiere when that person is holding the gun on
him... :)

This is a good idea. She just sorta disappeared in the last episode
of Silk Stalkings. I think the last time she was on was at Chris' Funeral,
then she moved somewhere....help me out, where did they say she moved to?

I also agree the baby should be named Sam, Or Samantha if girl!
Im shure Mitzi with make an appearance to pay for some new baby shoes...
I also hope that with the new show, the keep on some of the regular
informers like Donnie Dogs, and Atticus, Donovans role was always
entertaining as well!!

Sorry folks for those of you who like the new characters on SS, but as a
longtime watcher of Chris & Rita, I think there is no comparison. The new
guy isn't bad but the new female ( Janet) frankly sucks! Partially it
may be the material - they have made her character very negative and
sarcastic and this is very disconcerting after watching the more upbeat
Chris & Rita. Of course I realize there is no bringing them back, but
there is absolutely no chemistry between the two new leading actors. The
divorce idea was a bad one. My husband and another friend are here and
totally agree with this assessment. Sorry to be blunt but I had to get it
off my chest. Janet should lose the attitude. ( ARE you listening
writers??)

I miss Rita and Chris on the show. I use to watch the show all the time,
but now with the new actors I just don't like it. I really wish they
would bring them back somehow. Stranger things have happened on the soap
opera.

I don't remember her moving anywhere. I don't think the plot went that
far.
Anyway, what do you think about the new team? Janet Gunn is such a
horrible actor, she's not nearly as pretty as Rita and she's a bitch.
Even my husband thinks so, so it's not just catty me saying so. The guy,
whose name I don't really care about, is much better. He can act and he
fits the part. He doesn't try to be Chris. Whats-her-name seems to be
trying to outdo Rita.
