Raised in Hallandale, Florida, Nancy grew up on the beaches of the
southern Atlantic coast. By age 12, she was spending summers modeling
in New York City. Upon graduation from a performing arts high school
in Ft. Lauderdale, she won a theatrical scholarship to the University
of Florida. She declined it in favor of continuing her professional
career... in Miami and attended Broward College where she studied
theatre and paid for her tuition by modeling and acting. Nancy's
timing was perfect as Hollywood was making a second home in Florida.
While still in Miami, she starred opposite Jason Gedrick in Orion
Pictures' "The Heavenly Kid," Fox's "Porky's Revenge" and two guest
roles on "Miami Vice." After college, she went to New York to pursue
her theatrical career and within one month landed a series regular
role on the daytime drama "Ryan's Hope." She stayed with the show for
two years before heading west to Los Angeles. During her time in Los
Angeles, Nancy has worked opposite Patrick Dempsey in "Loverboy" and
Rod Steiger and Molly Ringwald in "Seven Sundays." Her most notable
television role was the sexy English teacher that sang and danced in
NBC's innovative musical series "Hull High."
