Wrong as usual, "trotsky".
So why would anyone willingly goto Dubai knowing what goes on there,
not to mention make a movie with them going there?
'Don't drink alcohol, have sex or even hold hands': Foreign Office advice to keep Britons out of jail in Dubai

By Daily Mail Reporter
British tourists and expats working in Dubai have been given a 'Dos and
Don'ts' list in a bid to keep them out of jail.
The Foreign Office warns that drinking alcohol, sharing a hotel room when
unmarried and even holding hands could land visitors in trouble because of
strict Muslim laws.
Britons are more likely to be arrested in the United Arab Emirates - the
federation of which Dubai is a part - than anywhere else in the world.
The Foreign Office website warns that there is a 'zero tolerance for drugs
and alcohol'.
It adds that arrests can arise from financial offences, such as bouncing
cheques and offences against the laws relating to culture and morality.
Possession of even the smallest amount of illegal drugs can lead to a
minimum four year jail sentence. Care should also be taken about the
import of prescription drugs and some over-the-counter drugs.
Britons can find themselves facing charges relating to cultural differences,
such as using bad language, rude gestures or public displays of affection.
British nationals should also be aware of the UAEs strict laws banning sex
outside of marriage.
The embassy website warns:
Alcohol is only allowed in licensed restaurants, pubs, clubs, private venues.
And to drink at home, you must have a special alcohol licence. Alcohol can
only be consumed by over 21s.
Drugs are strictly forbidden, and even having a residual amount in your bag
or on clothing could result in a four-year jail sentence. Even if you are
importing prescription drugs you may need to get permission from the UAE
authorities first.
Sex outside of marriage is illegal and sharing a hotel room could land you
in a police cell.
Holding hands is tolerated if you are married, but kissing and hugging is
considered an offence against public decency.
Dancing is only allowed in the privacy of your home or at licensed clubs.
Dancing in public is classed as indecent and provocative.
Offensive language, spitting and aggressive behaviour (including hand
gestures) is though to be unacceptable. British offenders have been known
to receive a six-month jail sentence for such an act and some have been
deported.
Drink-driving is illegal and the UAE has a ZERO-tolerance policy. Even
having the smallest amount of alcohol in your system is banned. Tailgating,
speeding, racing, lane jumping, or using a mobile phone while driving are
also against the law.
Addressing women in public, or taking their photo without permission is
strictly frowned upon and it is forbidden to take pictures of government
buildings.
Luxury: Dubai is a playground for the rich and famous, but has strict
Muslim laws
Opulence: The new Atlantis Hotel In Dubai attracts tourists looking for a
relaxing break. But without care, they could fall foul of the law
In March, Charlotte Adams, 26, from Essex, and Ayman Najafi, 25, of North
London, were jailed for a 'peck on the cheek' in a restaurant.
Vince Acors, 35, and Michelle Palmer, 37, were convicted of public indecency
and having unmarried sex while on a Dubai beach in 2008. They were jailed
for three months and ordered to pay fines of 155 each.
Charged: Ayman Najafi, from London, was accused of public indecency with
Charlotte Adams for kissing in public
British women, Sally Antia, 44, and Marnie Pearce, 40, have both been
jailed for adultery in Dubai.
And Roxanne Hillier, 22, the daughter of a British businessman, is serving
a three-month sentence in neighbouring Sharjah after she was accused of
sleeping with the boss of the dive shop where she walked.
BBC Radio One DJ Grooverider, real name is Raymond Bingham, was jailed in
2008 for four years in Dubai after taking 2.16 grams of cannabis into the
UAE.
The embassy also warns women to dress conservatively, or risk causing
offence. That includes wearing 'conservative bathing attire' on the beach
and shorts and skirts of appropriate length.
Clothing with offensive pictures or slogans is also frowned upon as are
transparent items of clothing or those which show off the body.
Importing any drugs, pork products or pornographic books and material is
also forbidden.
Between April 2008 and March 2009 there were 294 arrests and detentions
of British citizens. Around 1.1million Britons visited the UAE in 2009.
Dubai court throws out public indecency conviction against Pakistani couple
A Dubai appeals court has thrown out a public indecency conviction and a
month's prison sentence for a Pakistani couple accused of having sex in
their car after the pair claimed they were together in a private place.
Majid Al Kabban, a lawyer working for a firm representing the husband
and wife, said the ruling by the lower court was overturned last week.
'We're definitely happy and a little bit surprised,' Mr Al Kabban said.
'Usually this type of thing goes in a different way.'
Police arrested the pair in May 2009 and accused them of having sex in
their car at a beach-front retail centre. A lower court sentenced them in
November to a month in jail and ordered them to be deported. The pair
were free while they appealed the case.
The 28-year-old man and his 24-year-old wife, who remain in Dubai,
successfully argued in the appeals court that their car should be treated
like a private house.
Their lawyers said that because of the car's tinted windows, a policeman
who had raised the charge could not have seen what the couple were doing
inside.
Police initially suspected something was awry when they spotted the car at
the centre's car park after dark and twice attempted to see inside the
vehicle. They then knocked and saw a naked man rolling down the window,
the lawyer said.
The ruling is the latest in a string of cases involving sex in Dubai, a
cosmopolitan city with the most lenient social codes in the Gulf but a
tendency to sometimes crack down on frisky foreigners.
In March, a British couple was sentenced to a month in jail for passionately
kissing in public while an Indian couple was sentenced to three months in
jail for exchanging steamy text messages.
In 2008, two Britons accused of having sex on the beach got three months
in jail, though their sentences were later suspended.
