I remember I once found on YouTube a very early skit in which CM had a
completely different voice.

The Muppets are definitely proof of evolution -- I'm sure I'm not the
only one who remembers when Oscar was orange, Grover was brown, and
Herry had a shaggy blue nose (prior to his familiar purple, Bert-like
one).
