Kikaida is Gone? Is Naoya Ban Dead?

In Seattle today I was watching Northwest Afternoon (local TV show) and they
talked about the guy who played Kikaida in the shows died of a heart attack
while having sex with a prostitute. No reports of drug use have been found.
Did anyone else catch this? I only watched the end of it.

I remember that show. I thought it was really funny because they had villians
like The Orange Ant, or Grey Rhino and other corny names.
