Since J.D. and great fan Jeff Horne has announced the movie line up
for this year's G-FEST, I thought that I would mention a little
surprise we have in store for the Ultra fans who will be attending the
show.

4Kids Entertainment, the folks behind bringing Ultraman Tiga to the
United States and showing him on the FOX BOX, has expressed
interest in contributing to this year's G-FEST X.

There will be screenings of unseen episodes of ULTRAMAN TIGA, as well
as a display of 4Kids' upcoming merchandising for the show (new
toys, comics and clothing).

4Kids Entertainment pulled the show from the Fox Box to relaunch it in
September Reworked, and to tie it in with upcoming mechandising debut.

The "Evil Tiga" (4Kids'verison which is still unseen)episodes will be
screened and talks are underway to also show one of the most popular
in this series, Ep. #49 (which has the original Ultraman and his
mentor, the late Eiji Tsuburaya).

We're hoping this episode can be shown at the Pickwick Theater,
possibly before Saturday's movie line-up.

Tsuburaya Productions was also contacted about possibly
screening the latest Ultraman Cosmos film. A response is still
pending.

A few months ago, an effort was undertaken to see if famous Ultraman
actress Hiroko Sakarai would be interested in attending G-FEST but
that project did not pan out. Hopefully, 4Kids involvement will make
up for this.

See you at G-FEST X!

(A special thanks to Colleen Nuskey and Erin Webb of 4Kids' Marketing
department for making the Ultraman Tiga showing possible!)

An Episode which I have wondered about for a while...Since most of the
characters in it, being set in 1960's Japan, are smoking like Chimneys....A
huge no-no on kids TV in the modern American age.....And they're smoking
through the most major dramatic discussions of the episode too...So it's not
like you can cut around it!

Don't worry, 4Kids will find a way!
