On last night's (2/22/96) episode, Kramer was shown wearing boxers while
his pants were hanging (so they wouldn't be wrinkled while he played pool)....
But wasn't there an episode where it was made quite clear that he wore briefs
(and thus had a low sperm count)? He tried boxers on that episode but couldn't
deal with not having the support of briefs. Hmmm....seems the writers may have
forgotten about that...

Maybe he's trying to get the sperm count up. God knows theirs enough
things trying to keep it down.

But then Kramer went to NO underwear at all. He was swinging free.

Now, continuity is a wonderful thing, but can you imagine the scene if
he hadn't worn ANYTHING down there.

Scary . . .

There was also the time when Kramer was kicked in the head by Crazy
Joe Davola and was acting weird afterwards. He walked into Jerry's
apartment with his pants only on one leg. He was wearing boxers then
also. I don't know if this was before or after the sperm count
episode.

Kramer went from briefs (we all saw them when he modeled for the
Calvin Klein execs). Then he tried boxers because of low sperm
count and hated them. So he went "al fresco"!!

Come on, this isn't HBO. Of course we're going to see Kramer in
boxers. Wouldn't Estelle really have been upset if a
"bottomless" Kramer was leaning over Frank C. helping him with
his pool shot!!!;-)

I could have done without that image.

At least Kramer has it right now. Boxers are the only way to
fly in comfort!

I agree. And some support. The concept of wearing boxers is to have a bit
of "freedom", but if you're endowed sufficiently, it's a bit uncomfortable
shifting around like that. So, you have to get a jockstrap. But then
you're back to chafing square one.

The solution? Boxer briefs! I just tried 'em and they're not bad. You
get just enough support without having an abrasive strip of ribbed cotton
chafing you on the sides.

Hey, in one episode Kramer is wearing briefs-then he wants to have kids so he
tries boxers, then starts wearing no underwear.

As Jerry would say: *Idiots!*

Kramer actually says: "I need the secure packaging of Jockeys.
My boys need a HOUSE!"

You are absolutely correct. In that episode he emphatically
declared his love for Jockeys. HOWEVER, I just saw the episode
where Crazy Joe Davola kicked Kramer in the head, and when Kramer
comes into Jerry's apartment with his pants half off.....he's
wearing boxers!

I'm pretty sure the line is, "My boys need a house!"

Anyone looking for consistency from Kramer is looking in the wrong place.

I agree. Some of my favorite lines came frome that episode. Such as:
"I'm out there Jerry and I'm lovin every minute of it!" and, "I'm filp'in
I'm flopin all over the place!"
