Tonight's syndicated rerun was the Red-Dot episode. After seeing Jerry take a
shot of Hennigan's, I wondered....How many times have we actully seen jerry
drink and alcoholic beverage? I can think of one (tonight's episode)!

Just a conversation starter, I guess!

Happy Festivus, everyone!!

I think in one of the very first episodes, where the woman he met on the
road comes in town and stays with him ( the woman with a boyfriend )
Jerry and her drink wine.

Also in "The Bizarro Jerry", Man Hands opens a beer bottle for him.

In "The Sniffing Accountant", Kramer downs a draft beer in one gulp.

And of course, "The Betrayal" showed Lanie drinking Schnapps like
it's water.

AND there's also the episode at Elaine's office party where her current
boyfriend falls off/on the wagon after taking Jerry's (alcoholic) drink rather
than his own cranberry juice.

In the same episode, Jerry and Elaine use Kramer to "test" whether you
can smell alcohol on somebody. Kramer downs a shot of Hennigan's
whiskey and then goes off, pretending that he's in a fake commercial
for the liquor. That scene cracks me up!

Don't forget Elaine and her Schnapps in the Backwards Episode.

Actually, it's scotch. How could you forget the quintessential quote:

"Hennigan's: the no-tell, no-smell scotch!"

You can't forget that Jerry took a shot of the Hennigan's. It was also on
that episode when Elaine was asking him about the white sweater with the red
spot that George bought.

Elaine downs a tumbler full of Hennigans to prepare for concocting a lie

But she pours it out when Jerry turns away.
She never actually drinks it, so that shouldn't count.

What about the Merlot? - Is that Booze - It could
be because 'they just invented it'

No she does not... She FILLS the glass then drops a bag of chips on the
floor and then while Jerry is picking up the chips she dumps it down the
drain.

FYI
