Hey. I just saw who I think plays Mimi on the Drew Carey Show on a rerun
of Seinfeld. It was the one where they parked in the handicapped space
and people were going to beat up on the car (I think it was Jerry's car,
not sure.) She looks really different without blue eyelids!

You are right. Kathy Kinney (Mimi) played the bystander and according to
her bio, she's a blonde, 5'4", blue eyes, celebrates her birthday on
November 3, and her birthplace is Stevens Point, Wisconsin (pop. 23,000).

Yep, that was her. She was the one Jerry talked to, who explained that a
woman had had an accident.

That was George's father's car. The police came to his house and arrested
him as hhe was receivinh an award for helping the handicapped. This was
the first father, not Jerry Stiller.

That was Jerry Stiller, all right! We saw him yelling at George about
wrecking the car! It was definitely him.

What other currently bigtime actors or actresses were not so bigtime
actors on Seinfeld but went on to better things after?

Like Terri Hatcher was not a big deal, was Jerry's girlfriend, then
went on to Lois and Clark. And Mimi from Drew Carey was a angry mobish
woman Jerry talked to when George parked in a handicapped spot and the
wheelchair lady injured herself as a result.

Anymore I'm missing?

Actually, John Randolph originally played George's father in that
episode. When the episode went into syndication, the scenes featuring
him were reshot with Jerry Stiller playing the role (it's true!).
Personally, I think it's kind of stupid because 1) There was a different
actor who played Jerry's father in an episode of the first season, and
his scenes weren't reshot with the actor who currently plays Jerry's
father, and 2) It's almost like a syndication cut (i.e. it alters the
way the episode was originally shown).

In another example, Larry David was the voice of Newman (he didn't make
an appearance) in an episode before Wayne Knight played the character.
In later episodes, so I've heard, that voice was replaced with Wayne
Knight's voice.

I've been thinking the same thing. Here's as many I can think of:

Teri Hatcher ("The Implant", Lois And Clark)
Kathy Kinney ("The Handicap Spot", Drew Carey), plus another one that I
can't remember their name
Jane Leeves ("The Virgin", Frasier)
Paula Marshall ("The Outing", Chicago Sons)
Andrea Parker ("The Contest", The Pretender)
Kathy Griffin ("The Doll"(?), Suddenly Susan)
Maggie Jakobson (she changed her last name when she got married) ("The
Fix-Up", Friends)

Plus many more...

It seems to me that way back when Seinfeld started getting really
popular it was a unique thing for an actor to do a cameo on his

Wrong. Kramer saw him, ran up to him as he was getting into a cab and Jon
Voight bit him on the arm. George then tried to get a dentist at Tim
Whattley's party to match the teeth marks on Kramer's arm to the pencil

Lloyd Bridges showed up in #150 as the bad-back weightlifter who thought
Jerry was "better than me?"

I'm not sure if she was Susan's old roommate or not...She was the girl that messed up
Jerry's act on the Charles Grodin show by instead of bringing up the barbeque sauce that
was shaped like Charles Grodin's head bought some other sauce that she thought was
"much funnier." She also messed up another act because instead of bringing Susan's doll
that looked like George's mom, she bought another doll she thought was "much funnier".
