I can't remember this: how did Elaine lose her job at Pendant Publishing?
Thanks!
Becky
Didn't Pendant go out of business when Elaine couldn't tell her boss to
take a handkerchief to his meeting with the Japanese businessmen who were
going to buy the company? Lippman sneezed in his hand and wouldn't shake
hands with the Japanese, they got offended and dropped the deal.
You missed the best part! Elaine tried to tell Mr. Lippman that he forgot
his hankie, but she couldn't because her mouth was full of Jujyfruit!
The very same Jujyfruit (well, not the same box) that killed her relationship
with Jake Jarmel.

Ah, yes, it's all coming back to me now. However, *now* I don't remember what
happened with Jake Jarmel and the Jujyfruits. Anyone?
Thanks again,
Becky

Elaine was meeting him at the movies but when she got there the manager
told her that Jake was in an accident. Before running to the hospital
she stopped at the counter to get Jujyfruits and popcorn. At the
hospital Jake was telling her the story as she was easting the candy and
when he asked her where and when she got them she said the movie theater
without thinking and he kicked her out. We find out in the next episode
that they have broken up.

After Elaine couldn't tell Mr. Lippman he forgot his hankerchief because she
was eating Jujifruits, he lost a merger with a Japanese company because he
couldn't shake the guys hand do to the germs...thus the end of Pendant
Publishing...

Except you forget to mentioned it was all started by Elaine's
obsessive consumption of Juicy Fruits.
