It is odd, isn't it? There wasn't an episode when she switched back to
the straight team. George just explained in the the season premiere(?)
that "It didn't take."

Susan was gay for only that horrendous episode and thats it. As George
points out this season, 'it didn't take'. My theory and George's as well,
is that she was gay because she was broken up by both the ending of her
relationship with George and the loss of her job. Furthermore, even in
that episode it seems she is about to get back together with George until
the other George girlfriend comes along at the end. Consider the episode
an anomaly and not the norm.

So...the idea is that she finds a new girlfriend, isn't it? Besides, in
The Pilot 2 she's shown cuddling with another woman while they watch TV.
i.e.: she seems to be still a lesbian... I also have the same doubt..
when did she become straight again, if ever???

You are mistaken; they were in BED. In pajamas. You're living in denial.

The delay was long enough to panic George, who thought that perhaps they had
changed their minds. Then, they get the call to start casting, which of
course sets off George's sore on his lip. Since I'm butting in here, I don't
know what the significance of the length of time between episodes means to
you, but... it was a while.

George would have panicked if it had been ten minutes. I think it was
only a matter of one to two weeks.
