SCTV exists in Australia!

Southern Cross, is the Seven Network, and Network Ten affiliate
broadcaster in Tasmania.
Southern Cross airs programming from both networks, but to a larger
extent programs from the Seven Network.
Southern Cross Television is fully owned by Southern Cross Broadcasting.
SCTV's studios and operations are based in Launceston, with news burea
around the state including Hobart.


Southern Cross, formed its affiliation with 7 and 10 in April 1994.
SCTV, remains Tasmania's Premier TV station, with its nightly 'Southern
Cross Nightly News' which is the top rating news service in the state.

You know what? I've been to Tassie. I think Southern Cross Nightly
News is the ONLY news service in the state. But Floyd and Earl are
not the anchors.

Aussies have great senses of humor to start with. Not unusual that SCTV should
be playing there.
