really look like that ? Like in 2009 and Beyond. Is she the same person
that plays the widows frioend in Days of The Week ?

If she's reading this, let me clarift that it's the creepy makeup! She's very attractive on DOTW and other sketches i can't name. Her voice does have a rather penetrating tone, though...

Yea, theres just something about that character she does that is just so
off-putting...but in a good way, kinda like bitting out an ingrown
fingernail if ya know what I mean.

MCW was capable of looking good sometimes but a lot of the time she wore a
scary amount of make-up and played characters who were meant to be
somewhat unsettling (for example the insecure woman in her late thirties
who was desperate for attention from Andrea Martin's pre-teen girl).

I like Mary Catherine Wilcox! She had the balls to play weird and kooky characters. Or older women. Just like Catherine O'Hara did. Wilcox had me in stitches when she tackled Babs as Ruth Gordon in the wickedly funny Rich And Jealous skit! And I thought she was cute as a button when she sang a didddy with the late great John Candy on Melonville Tonight. She was playing Margaret Thatcher to the hilt! So lay off the lady already, you haters! Hell, she did a movie, Lepke, with Tony Curtis! How many actresses have bragging rights to that factoid?
