I've read where John may have been an extra in Hercules in New York,
the film Governor Schwarzeneggar is surely embarassed by; it was one of
the worst movies I've ever seen. It was the 1970 B movie where
Ahnold's voice was dubbed for his role as Hercules, and is
unintentionally hilarious to see him dubbed. IMDB.com lists John's
role as unconfirmed, and with John's death he was never able to confirm
that he was in this film. I haven't seen Hercules in New York in about
ten years, and from what I've heard it was re-released a couple years
back where they removed the dubbing, which I remember as the most
entertaining part of the film. I'd love to see this again to see if I
can spot John in his small role (he would have been 19 or 20 at the
time) but it would have to be the version where they used the dubbing
on Ahnold.

I have this on DVD. You can watch with either the dubbed voice or the
original Arnold. I'll check it out this weekend and let you know.

Cool! I guess I'll have to go out and buy this movie now that I know
it has the dubbed Ahnold on it. I remember the first time I saw this I
was laughing so hard at the dubbing I was in tears.
