I recently came across a photo on Dennis Haskins' Twitter page of
himself reunited w/ Nancy Valen, who played Nurse Jennifer in Season 2
of SBTB. Jennifer was the brand new school nurse that Zack developed a
crush on despite having previously asked Kelly to go steady w/ him.
It's kind of ironic that the one scene involving Dennis and Nancy (the
Zack's dream sequence where he's a doctor operating on Mr. Belding and
Nurse Jennifer, Kelly and Screech are his assistants) is edited out of
the syndicated version. It wasn't until I got the DVD of Seasons 1-2,
that I found out that there was missing footage that originally aired
on NBC.
Kathy Ireland was originally up for the part (this was first revealed
in one of the DVD commentaries). Now, "From Nurse to Worst" is
admittedly, how favorite SBTB just for how insanely hot Nancy Valen
was (especially at the end when she "teaches Zack a lesson"). When I
brought up that Kathy Ireland was first considered for the role, she
got wind of it and replied to me on Twitter (she's really nice about
it by the way):

Basically, she was "fired" (I first assumed that she dropped out at
the last minute for whatever the reasons) because the producers fault
that her acting wasn't up to par (which is kind of ironic for
something like SBTB):

I've never seen Kathy Ireland's acting that much. I do remember her in
the movie Necessary Roughness (which was basically, a comedic
interpretation of the SMU college football death penalty scandal from
the '80s) as the hot kicker ("Welcome to foot...ball!!!"). She also
did this movie called Alien from L.A., which wound up getting
"reviewed" on Mystery Science Theater 3000. She was also in Loaded
Weapon 1, which was basically a spoof of Lethal Weapon (w/ Emilio
Estevez playing the Mel Gibson/Martin Riggs role and Samuel L. Jackson
playing the Danny Glover/Roger Murtaugh role). I would've out of sheer
curiosity, wondered how Kathy Ireland would've pulled off the famous
seduction/scare straight sequence (about her fictitious pro wrestler
husband whom Hulk Hogan says could be the champion if not for his
violent temper) w/ Zack at the end.
