Saved By the Bell, Hang Time, City Guys? Differences, Not Many...

I don't know, but when I watch these shows I can't help but feel that Peter
Engel
really does not know how to come up with a fresh idea, it seems like he just
takes the same concept and just puts it in a different situation. It just
feels like every plot on these shows has just been recycled again and again.
Jessie has a drug problem on SBTB, oh there it is on Hang Time, oh look City
Guys is doing someone similiar, how many different ways can you develop the
exact same situation? Probably a lot, but on these shows its always the same.

Yeah, these shows constantly repeat the same crap over and over again, but
when did City Guys have a drug problem storyline (or anything similar,
i.e. smoking, drinking)? I've noticed that Hang Time and USA High tend to
recycle more than the other shows do, which is odd, considering they are
two of the better Engel Shows around right now. Luckily, Malibu, C.A. is
really good, and doesn't seem to recycle that much.

Name all the recycled storylines used throughout all the TNBC shows and USA
High.

- Step brother from New York moves in, first in Saved by The Bell, then in New
Class
- Aspiring song writer's idol steals song of song writer, first in Califormia
Dreams then in USA High
- USA High uses a lot of songs from California Dreams and the Friends forever
song from Saved by the Bell
- Both WJJ's chracters Tony and Excess use the "I am the ____ of ____, I am the
____ of ____,I am the ____ of ____," line

there are probably a lot more that i can't think of right now.

These shows being Peter Engel shows will always have some kind of
recycled
story that was dumped from one show to
another.Saved By The Bell,California Dreams,Hang Time,City Guys,USA High
all Engel vehicles,will have some stale
storyline showing up that you have seen
before on one of these shows.

This isn't Seinfeld or Frasier but a Peter
Engel show,which means a goofy situation
comedy plot mixed in with somebody learning a lesson mixed in with some
lame jokes and presto,20 minutes of a TV
show that is somehow interrupting the steady flow of commericials that
NBC keeps throwing at us.NBC hopes,at least,
you paid attention to the commericials.

It is not just these shows TV has been doing it for generations. Even Star
Wars has a plot from an Old Time Western.
