Roswell reboot gets first-look trailer and fans of the original are divided.
Does ''Roswell: New Mexico'' have the same ring?
Our first glimpse at the upcoming Roswell reboot, ''Roswell: New Mexico'',
by debuting the first preview at San Diego Comic-Con.
The footage shows new and older versions of original characters including
Liz, Max and Isabel (who were originally played by Shiri Appleby, Jason Behr
and Katherine Heigl [but not in this clip] ) and shows us the famous moment
where Max saves Liz's life after she is shot.
The reboot follows an older Liz, a biomedical researcher and daughter of
undocumented immigrants who moves back to Roswell and rekindles her
relationship with her high school love Max, an alien who crash-landed in
Roswell in 1947.
The idea of a Roswell remake has divided fans of the original series pretty
much down the middle since it was announced, and the trailer has been no
exception.
