Season Finale --- 1-13 - Recovering the Satellites

The episode starts out where it left off last week - Michel has the antidote
and wants to give it to Noah; Max has a gun on Michael to stop him. After
more arguing, Michel tells Max he won't shoot him, so Max shoots the
antidote hypo. Michael gets angry, shouts at Max, and drives him through
French doors into the next room knocking Max out.

Michel tries to help Noah get away, but Noah falls to the floor, then he
stabs Michael with the broken piece of hypodermic tube, then licks Michael
blood off the glass, and maybe some of the antidote. he is back to form.
Noah goes after Liz in the Crashdown. She locks him in the walk-in cooler
where she found the pollen from a rare flower that was the dust that
incapacitated Michael. Of course he gets out. Liz leaves with Max.

They start to have sex but Liz wants Max to put his hand on her chest so she
can feel what he feels. She then falls back into an orgasmic swoon even
before the get their clothes off.

Afterward, Max gets a call from Isobel, saying she knows where Noah is. They
drive together out into he desert. Noah is sitting on a rock. Isobel gets
out of the car and goes to him. as soon as she sits down both she and Noah
are saying the same thing in unison - Noah is controlling her again. He
makes her unconscious. Max tries to shoot Noah but either the bullet
disintegrated, or passed though Noah harmlessly.

“You’re the Savior,” Noah tells Max in a speech that explains why they were
given protective pods when other survivors had to fend for themselves. Max
was essentially the Chosen One on their war-torn home planet, gifted with
special powers he hasn’t even harnessed yet, and now that he’s fully grown,
Noah expects “them” (the victors in the war) to come and bring their savior
home. “Unlock your mind, and you can be a god,” Noah continues, explaining
to Max that all those Bible stories about miracles are actually about
aliens. He stops short of actually saying that Jesus was an alien, but the
subtext is right there.

Max decides to give that whole “unlock your mind” thing a whirl and runs out
into the desert to throw his arm into the sky and draw an electromagnetic
thunderbolt of energy down from somewhere - clouds maybe. Max is now
enormously powerful and takes the opportunity to fry Noah to a crisp!.
Isobel goes into his mind while he is dying and tells him she never loved
him. After he dies, she tells Max she lied to Noah, that she really loved
him [[I suppose it never occurred to her that Noah was mind controlling
her ]]

They are in Noah's cave with his pod. All these years Noah had Rosa in the
pod after he killed her (they wonder who is in her grave).

They all leave but Max comes back, puts some of the silver goo on his hand
and pulls Rosa out of the pod. Her upper chest is burned terribly where Noah
killed her. Max is trying to resurrect her. Liz feels Max in her chest where
he touched her. She goes to the desert looking for him. She hears a voice
behind her, it is Rosa come back to life. After they hug, Liz goes into he
cave and finds a dead Max.

Michael goes to Maria, then goes to find Max and Noah. So I guess they are
a couple now.

So Max is dead, but no doubt they will put him into a pod to bring him back.
Bust just how long that will take will determine how long before Season 2
begins.

YES. ROSWELL HAS BEEN RENEWED FOR A SECOND SEASON! !! !!!

And even though Deputy Cam is gone, Rosa (Amber Midthunder - WHAT A
GREAT NAME!) will be a permanent cast member next season .
