Max tells Liz that since he healed her, he has been feeling a lot of
un-natural rage. So she hooks him up to a portable heat monitor, with
several attachments to his chest, to discover what powers he has.

They get too close, his feelings increase, then suddenly her arm is burned
where he is holding it, and the heart monitor is fried. Just then Isobel
comes in and raises hell with them. Later, Michael tells Isobel she is just
jealous that Liz seems to be coming between her (Isobel) and Max.

But the fact that Isobel is married doesn't seem to be the same thing to
her.

There is a drive-in movie charity thing. Isobel tries to go into Liz's
mind to get her to stop seeing Max, but she sees Rosa, Liz's dead sister,
instead, and stops.

Liz and Marie (who was friends with Rosa more than she was with Liz)
are on the roof of the Crash Down, drinking and smoking pot. Liz finds a
secret hiding place of Rosa's with a love note from Max.

Max and his deputy, Jenna, are making out at the drive in. Liz finds
them and demands that Max talk to her. When they are alone, she shows him
the letter, but he says he wrote it to her, but Rosa must have intercepted
it.

She says she knows Rosa was murdered, but for some reason she
doesn't tell Max about Rosa's autopsy photo with the hand print on her face.
