Not too bad for second show.

First, a new deputy sheriff to help out Max -- Jenna Cameron, played
by Riley Voelkel, who was on The Originals. But this may have been her first
and last appearance, according to IMDb.

Max told Liz in the pilot ep that her feelings for him were an echo
of what he felt for her, and after the handprint left, she wouldn't feel the
same. She confirmed it in this ep, but I wonder.

The 10th anniversary of Rosa's death causes tensions to run high, as
some of the redneck relatives of the other two girls who died take aim at
Liz and her father. Three of them beat him up until Max stops them.

Max confronts Michael and Isobel, who are concerned that his feelings
for Liz will expose their secret. But later on, Isobel seems to be moving
to Liz's side, which I thought was a bit too fast.

Liz convinces Kyle to let her read Rosa's autopsy report. (Not
sure/don't remember what Kyle's job is that he would have access to the
autopsies). But there are two of them. The fake one says Rosa died of a drug
induced auto accident.

But the real one has a photo of her with a handprint on her face similar
to the one Liz had when Max healed her. The episode ends with Liz saying she
was going to get to the bottom of Rosa's death, even if it means going
after Max Evans (or words to that effect).

Only 13 episodes, BTW
