has to go to the one where Jim is involved with recovering a stolen diamond,
and some goofy folks in a RV from Indiana get caught up in the action...
Damned funny.

That would be The Queen of Peru. Not sure I would rate it the best episode
ever but it sure is pretty high on the list.

wow, i thought that was one of the worst. it is so funny how different
people see the show differently. i thought one of the best was black
mirror, where megan was treating the hitman, and old charlie martel was the
bodyguard in a double breasted suit.

i also like the new pastoria episode.

oh well it is all rockford.

Yep, it's funny what people like and what they don't... Some more of my
favorites that I recall would be...

(sorry, I don't know the titles...)

- The one with the hippie chick, who's into karma and freeloading etc...
- The one(s) with Tom Selleck (Lance?) where everything works always out for
him...
- And the one with the lame mechanic (Beamer?), who wants to be a PI...

- And of course Angel's presence always makes a good episode...

"Quickie Nirvana"

"White on White and Nearly Perfect" (I think)

I always recommend "Drought at Indianhead River"

I love that episode too! It's THE QUEEN OF PERU.

It is really hard to pick a favorite. One that comes to my mind is BEAMER'S
LAST CASE. There are just so many great episodes, I might have to put together
and publish a personal Top Ten List of favorite episodes. : )

The hippie chick's in "Quickie Nirvana", which might be #1 on my list too.
My two top Angel eps are "Chicken Little Is A Little Chicken" and "Drought
At Indianhead River". "Beamer's Last Case" is also a very good one.

I'll add one I don't think anyone's mentioned: "The No-Cut Contract" -
that's the one with Rob "Meathead"* Reiner.

Got to be "Dwarf in a Helium Hat"

The early scene with Jim and Chapman is just too much!

Then Jim takes Jay Rockfelt's dog to the vet and informs the nurse
that the dogs name is "Chapman" ... I love it!!. Many classic Jimbo
lines in this one. TRF in it's prime!

How about "Nice Guys Finish Dead" where Beamer and Lance White meet?
TV Guide called this episode "quintessential" Rockford.

god, there are so many good episodes, but whenever rocky or angel had
big parts, it was usually good.

I've said it before and don't get much respect, but my favorite is "Irving
the Explainer".

That's in my bottom 10, maybe even my bottom 5, episodes. One of the few
I'll switch away from when it comes on. Just too convoluted.

Irving the Explainer is also one of my favorites. I just love the
restaurant scene where Dennis is furiously taking notes while everyone
else is talking a mile a minute.

"Irving" is my favorite 4th season episode, though I think the character of
Daphne, though nice to look at, made the episode a little cluttered.

i meant two different episodes, people have nailed the drilling for
oil episode, but what is the angel in a police uniform (in a hotel
room maybe) episode? angel, rocky and dennis were all priceless
(actually as were most of becker's bosses).
