1) The first movie, DARK JUSTICE, opened with Murphy's prime directives
being listed over a black screen. Will all the films begin like this?
2) What does Page Fletcher look like when he's in the suit and the helmet is
taken off? I'm guessing he doesn't have the helmetless makeup on underneath.
Is his hair covered by anything? Does he have to wear that thing that covers
the back of his head (in the off helmet scenes), or is it part of the
helmet?
3) Over on www.robocop-pd.ca, Joseph O'Brien pondered how Murphy could go to
the washroom. Well... how does Page go the the washroom, if he's in the suit
and suddenly has the need to? (According to Joe, power tools are needed to
release the actors from the suit.)

Little trivia: the helmetless makeup is actually much too large to fit
beneath the helmet. You will never, in any of the Robo films, see the
helmet coming off and the makeup underneath in the same shot.
Page just looks like Page without the helmet. He wears a spandex
headpiece to protect his ears and forehead, which is part of his black
"Spidey-suit" undergarment that is the first layer of the Robosuit.

I'm not 100% certain, but I think the lower segment of the suit pops
off independently for exactly those reasons. I believe it was one of
those modifications made to the suit after the first film following
Weller's (perfectly reasonable) complaints.
Frankly, I was a little afraid to ask for details.

Also, seeing the helmet come off and the makeup in the same shot would lead
to another problem: The disappearing chinguard.
Although... I know you hate the series and become violent at its being
mentioned, but...

We have *sort of* seen the helmet come off and then the makeup in the
series. In the show, the helmet and the chinguard were attached. We saw the
technician take off Murphy's helmet, and then we saw the makeup, all in one
shot. I'm guessing that it was done by using a version of the helmet that
had part of the back removed, and the edges were around the actor's head --
and the technician was holding it before the actor's face. (This shot is in
a video clip at the RoboCop Archive.)

It must've been a rough ninety days for him. After watching DARK JUSTICE, I
think it paid off.

I like it too. It's a nice mood-setter, and Norman's quasi-sinister
intro suits it quite nicely.

That shot's a cheat. It's a camera move that begins on one side and
dips back down behind the chair - into darkness - and then pops back
up on the other side as the helmet cuts off. There's an edit as the
camera passes behind the chair - it's actually two shots cut together
to look like a (fairly) fluid camera move.

That doesn't sound like the shot in the video Johan made. Perhaps Johan's
edits have changed it, and you're referring to what it was in the show? (I
stopped watching the series months ago... Okay, okay. Two weeks ago.)
Still, in the clip Johan made, when the helmet is being taken off, and the
shot is on the actor, it really looks like the helmet is over him, and being
removed. I don't think I understand what you're saying.
