Clipped From http://corp.teletoon.com/:

"TELETOON Retro Fall Launch
Toronto - September 1 sees nine classic cartoons join the TELETOON Retro
line-up with shows such as Fraggle Rock, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Wait Till
Your Father Gets Home and the most requested show since the launch of the
digital specialty channel, The Smurfs. Also added to the schedule, the
classic Spider-Man series along with The Banana Splits Adventure Show,
Reboot and two Scooby-Doo shows: 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo and The New
Scooby-Doo Mysteries. TELETOON Retro is available coast to coast and from
September will be in over 5 million Canadian homes with the launch of the
French language version of the channel."

Here's how they describe the show:

"Reboot
Everyday at 6 am, 1 pm and 11:30 pm ET
Produced in Vancouver, Reboot follows the activity that happens inside your
computer as characters such as Bob and Dot Matrix live and work in
Mainframe, a computer system. Premiering in 1994 and one of the first full
length completely computer animated TV series, the show is a smart kids
comedy that attracted viewers of all ages with its sharp pop culture
references and intricate story arcs. "

Three times a day, everyday. Maybe it will help encourage more interest in
Reboot 2.0 (which hasn't really shown much progress lately).

They also dug up Wait Till Your Father Gets Home. This was an "adult"
animated show like Family Guy.

Man, I loved that show back in the day! (A scarily long way back!)

I think it was the first time I'd ever seen a cartoon that wasn't just, you
know, Tom & Jerry or Daffy & Bugs. Way ahead of it's time and very groovy,
baby. I hope it still stands up - it'll only make me feel old if it's not as
good as I remember it being!

Happy Dance!

Seems like Teletoon Retro is really coming into it's own. If they can
get ahold of more 80's era shows (or pretty much any syndicated cartoons
more then a few years old), they'll have a pretty big audience. I really
need to watch it more often, and I'm sure I will come September.

Teletoon in general needs a bit of a boost in it's late night
programing. At least they are cutting back the movies to Sat,Sun. But
damn, they need to get The Simpsons and Family Guy back, and be a little
more varied in their programing. I mean Robot Chicken is great but you
can only watch it some many times.
