I'm watching YTV's "Psychoblast" preview of the upcoming season this
afternoon - Reboot's on in 2.5 hours. Objectively, that is - subjectively,
it's closer to years... :)
Now, "to tape or not to tape, that is the question"... at least there
won't be any commercials this time.

wondering why "Sam & Max" was replaced with "Hey, Arnold!". :(

I sat, I watched, I enjoyed... :)
I'm certain that I've missed some of the finer points and injokes, but
hey, that's what freeze-frame is for.
I have no idea what to call the new effects, not counting adjectives like
"Cool!" or "Groovy!". There seemed to be a lot more "moving camera" shots,
and the lighting was literally (for me) indescribable.
I could natter on about individual scenes ("What's Megabreath doing to
Hexadismal?", "Love the intro!", "The M. Jackson moves were a little
corny..."), but I'll leave that for another day.
One question - what in the world does "I'm dead before dawn! I'm dead
before dawn!" have to do with anything?

At least they put on a 2-minute preview for Sam & Max.. "Lactose the
Intolerant" indeed. :)

That's the subtitle of Evil Dead 2, the movie the game is based on. Go on,
rent it, you really must. Don't expect a standard slasher film. After you're
done, go rent Army of Darkness, the sequel. Ash rules.

I'm wondering how the writer managed to elicit such pathos and
subtle shading in the characters of the new "Lassie" series. I mean not
only was Lassie's original owner portrayed as pure evil, but he was
covered in grimey black oil, drove a pick-up truck (evil, I tells yah),
was uncaring enough to laugh off the laceration in Lassie's leg, and
talked in a crude and loud fashion. I felt his pain, but shouldn't he
also have been a drug pushing pimp in order to make the point slightly
clearer?

Sorry, I just really had to get that one off of my chest. It was
just so awful.

Tom

P.S. Oh, yeah. "Reboot" was pretty good too. B-)
