I'll say...a little recommendation for everyone. If you haven't been
reading spoilers or episode synopses, I would recommend you watch the
films Evil Dead II and/or Army of Darkness before season III starts.
Trust me, you'll enjoy some things a lot more.

And rent at least one or two episodes of "The Prisoner". Blockbuster
sometimes carries them.

For the fans who watched ReBoot on ABC Saturday mornings or the syndicated
Power Block, Season III is a major departure from the first two seasons.
The stories are more intense, the computer-generated imagery is breathtaking,
you will really like it.
These episodes have not been shown in the US before. The first one
starts where "Web World Wars" left off. The next two are light hearted,
then the serious stuff starts.

INWAP.COM is Joe Smith, Sally Smith and our cat Murdock.
(The O'Hallorans and their cats moved to http://www.tyedye.org/ Nov-98.)
See http://www.inwap.com/ for PDP-10, "ReBoot", "Shadow Raiders"/"War Planets"
I'd like to make another note that people shouldn't let the word "Serious"
scare them off. Although the show IS more dramatic, it does have the same
sitcom humor we've come to expect. ^_^ Plus more "cute" situations. If
anything, it's like ER without the hospital, and with more wisecracks.

Somebody mentioned previously that the Opening Sequences to the
season 3 episodes was important to the episodes that follow. I never
caught a reply to that, so is it true?
Hopefully Cartoon Networks silly little "You Ever Worked With
Anything High Tech?" opening wount hurt the 'new' episodes.

I wouldn't say the openings are essential to the show, except the
"Firewall" opening. Mainly, they give clips for the episodes in the
current arc, and a different voice over.
The openings are on average about a minute long. The "Firewall" opening
is longer, about 2 minutes I think.

I like the Dus Ex Machina add better thant he opening, but what's
his name's voice is really annoying (Baltar?).
Well, Iguess we'll find out if they keep them in tomorrow (I doubt
it though)...
Probably should have started a write-in campaign back when it first
started....
