Kris Jenner Says Cheating On Robert Kardashian Is Her "Life's Biggest Regret"

Reality star matriarch Kris Jenner just revealed that one of her biggest
regrets in life is being unfaithful to her first husband, attorney Robert
Kardashian, Sr.
The 67-year-old celebrity made the revelation during the latest episode of
“The Kardashians,” which premiered Thursday. Kris was talking with her
daughter Khloé Kardashian about her ex, Tristan Thompson, when she said
cheating on her husband with soccer player Todd Waterman in 1989 was a huge
mistake, per People.
“What was your mindset when you cheated?” Khloé asked. “When you did that
with my dad, and you had four kids and you had a family? Yes, I know you were
really young….”
Kris agreed that “being really young and dumb is something that plays into it
because you don’t really understand the consequences of your actions.”
“But what was my dad not doing that made you want to look elsewhere?” Khloé
pressed.
Kris replied, “I don’t know because he was such a great husband and such a
great dad, and I think that I fell into a situation where I thought that the
grass was greener somewhere else, and I made a huge mistake. That’s my life’s
biggest regret.”
“I’m not proud of the way I behaved during that time, but you know what?
Everything happens for a reason,” she added. “I really do live my life by
thinking God has a plan, and without that whole thing happening, there never
would’ve been Kendall and Kylie [Jenner].”
Kris was married to Robert Sr. from July 1978 until March 1991. They have
four children together: Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Robert Jr. He was diagnosed
with esophageal cancer in July 2003 and died shortly after.
She met her next husband, Bruce Jenner (who now goes by Caitlyn Jenner and
identifies as transgender) in 1990, and they married the following year. They
had two daughters, Kendall and Kylie, and later divorced in 2013.
Later in the episode, Kris said she hopes Khloé can have a good co-parenting
relationship with Thompson. Khloé had two young children with the NBA star.
“When I got divorced, Robert and I became best friends. We talked on [the]
phone all day long, helped each other through things all the time, and I did
have regrets,” Kris said. “I thought, Wow, what I was thinking? So I want
Khloé to be really careful when she makes these decisions and she has to let
somebody go.”
