FAQ: What is that beautiful piece of music during that hilarious fight
scene in #6's quarters? I'm familiar with Bizet's L'ARLESIENNE
which is more prominent in this episode.
Thanks

Let me ask the question a little more clearly. In "Hammer into Anvil"
there are two pieces of classical music played. One is a piece by Bizet
which I mentioned at the top of this thread. I am looking for the title
and composer of THE OTHER PIECE which was played during the fight scene in
#6's quarters towards the end of the episode. Can you help me?
Thanks
Be seeing you

(Looking at my Prisoner Music CD) It doesn't say the title of the piece, but
it does say it was composed by Vivaldi and arranged by Albert Elms. It's
nice to hear that song again (sometimes I wish I was a real authoritarian of
classical music.)

Here's the relevant pieces from the soundtrack CDs. No, they never told us the
titles of the Bizet pieces. If someone can research this, I would be happy to
add notes to the Music FAQ.

It's concerto No.2(!) from Vivaldi's "L'Estro Armonico," ie. op.3,no.2.
They seem to have arranged it especially for _The Prisoner_, BTW, or at
least I've never heard a like arrangement on any of the recordings I've
heard. (Can anyone confirm this? I meant to ask Eric Mival at the last
Portmeiricon and forgot.) I think it's on one of the _Prisoner_ sound
track recordings (Can anyone confirm this?).

The Bizet pieces are from the L'Arlesienne(I may have spelled that wrong)
suites. The first one is based on the first suite, the one played by the band
is an arrangement of the farandelle(the last suite).
