Amidst the recent sexual harassment scandals with Bill O'Reilly and
Harvey Weinstein, we have a case involving a PPG alumini: director Chris
Savino has been suspended from Nickelodeon due to harassment charges
from at least 12 women.

This is indeed sad news. Savino directed the hilarious episode "I See a
Funny Cartoon in Your Future", as well as the PPG rock opera "See Me,
Feel Me, Gnomey". On the other hand, one cannot help but wonder if
Chris's penchant for inappropriate sexual behavior started at Cartoon
Network. Many talented women contributed to the original "The Powerpuff
Girls", including:

- voice actors Tara Strong, E.G. Daily, Catherine Cavadini, Jennifer
Hale, and Jennifer Martin;
- writers Amy Keating Rogers and Lauren Faust;
- composer Jennifer Kes Remington; and
- numerous animators and production staff members.

Were any of these talented women who contributed so much to the success
of the series harassed by Mr. Savino? If so, Chris should have been
suspended a long time ago.
