Palin is the reason McCain is losing.

What makes you think she will do any better on her own?

When I had first learned that McCain picked Palin as his V.P. running mate I
thought, "are you out of your mind? Who is this person? I never heard of
her."
Then I heard her speak at the GOP convention and my thoughts quickly turned
to, "Hey, maybe McCain knows something we don't know. This woman is very
smart, she is good. She is like a breath of fresh air. I really like her."
I think many Americans felt the same way.
Then, as the days rolled on and I listened to her speeches it quickly became
apparent that it wasn't her talking, it was someone else telling her what to
say and how to say it. Soon, I got tired of hearing the word, "Maverick".
I got tired of hearing how she took on the "good old boys".
Then there was the interview with Katie Couric and it was very evident that
she isn't even close to being ready. She is intelligent, I'll give her
that. But, she frankly scares the hell out of me and I am still questioning
McCain's judgment. What in the hell was he thinking? He had many other
people out there who are far more prepared.
Then I watched the first debate with Biden. She was good, certainly better
than expected. But she was not good enough. Biden did an outstanding job
and he showed just how unprepared she truly is.
The GOP has been thoroughly damaged and it's going to take a long time to
repair.
Like the Democrats who were badly torn apart in the 90's and early 00's, now
it's the GOP who is torn apart and they will have to go through the same
process and rebuilding the Democrats went through.
I'll give it to the Democrats, they have gotten better and this year I see
nothing standing in their way. The GOP had their chance, they blew it.
Lets see if the Democrats can pick up the ball, carry it, and score a
touchdown.

It isn't for the parties, it's for America.

she certainly has the ability to learn and be prepared down the road.
This certainly isn't her year, probably isn't her decade. She has a ways to
go, but I think she can do it.

She was brought along for the ride and failed miserably. You honestly think
she is going to be this high profile in four years? Many people are going to
blame her for the lose. I doubt she gets re-elected in Alaska.

You will find that has little influence on that mast. Most will disregard
it.
As you can see already, this has been on the surface for weeks and barely
comes up in conversation.

But it is having a an effect on all who seeing it.

Most people in America, even Christians, don't go in for that
"protection from witchcraft" mumbo jumbo that the witch hunting pastor
is praying for. People may not be discussing it, but I have not doubt
that it is having a detrimental effect on her campaign... that and that
fact that she appears dumb as a post in an interview.

Not really, about as much effect as things that surfaced up on Obama.
Like his ties with a radical preacher, muslim religion, ect...
People care about more important things.

Since you were nice enough, on another one of your posts, to tell us
some things some Democrats have done wrong, here are some things that
Sarah Palin and her hubby Todd have done up in Alaska...... Enjoy!

Yes, we enjoy seeing the neocons poopooing all of the scandals of
their wonder woman Sarah Palin.

EarmarkGate, - Palin saying she didn't solicit earmarks when she did
BridgeToNowhereGate – gave false indication the earmarked money for it
was not solicited, and, when busted on that, insinuated it was
returned to Washington DC when it was not, but rather spent on roads
and bridges that Sarah chose – unclear is if there are any required
steps to be taken when earmarked money is transferred in such a way,
and, if there are, if any and all were met.
RoadToBridgeToNowhereGate – even though the BridgeToNowhere was not
built, they still later went ahead and built a road to it, for hunting
and for snowmobile races
eMailGate1 – Todd Palin was copied on Alaska state official business
although he was not a state employee, and, therefore, had no reason
being copied on them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTiwavTtcxA&feature=related
eMailGate2 – 1,100 official state emails held back by Sarah Palin that
Todd Palin was given access to, but the public was not, citing
executive privledge.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTiwavTtcxA&feature=related
ExpenseGate – Palins milking the system for housing per-diems and for
family traveling even though Sarah was making over $100,000 per year
TrooperGate – harassment of Sarah's ex-brother-in-law by Sarah and
Todd, and the firing of the leading state Public Safety official just
because he would not fire her ex-brother-in-law.
AbusingChildrenGate - Sarah Palin told to stop emotionally abusing
children of her sister's ex.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTiwavTtcxA&feature=related
StonewallGate – Sarah and Todd Palin not honoring their subpoenas to
appear for the legislative Troopergate probe. This despite Sarah
saying “Hold me accountable!” and assuring the world that she would
cooperate fully with the legislative probe
ShootWildlifeFromAircraftGate.- pushed through by Sarah Palin so Sarah
and her hunter friends could hunt wildlife from helicopters and light
airplanes. How sportsmanlike!
WasillaEthicsGate - a very tawdry tale of lying by Sarah Palin.
Zoning aid, free gifts, abuse of office, and cronyism.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080928/ap_on_el_pr/palin_ethics
ToddPalinGate – aka MrMomGate (an offshoot of the previous 8),
MisquoteGate – Sarah Palin misquotes Madeline Albright on purpose, for
her own aggrandizement.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/05/palin-misquotes-albright_n_131967.html?view=print
LibraryCensorshipGate – Sarah Palin, while mayor of Wasilla, pushing
the local librarian on how to get books dropped from the library and
threatening to fire the librarian until the populance found out about
Sarah's evil plan, the resulting local uproar, and a possible recall
motion, made Sarah Palin back off.

Are there yet more skeletons in the closet of Sarah Palin?
The odds say there are. And since John McCain says she
was completely vetted, and that it appears he was primarily
going by her accounts, that Sarah must not have been truthful with
him. No wonder McCain has been so pissed lately!

Well, we are all certainly entitled to our opinion.
But if she is so dumb and if you are so smart...

Why is she a governor and a running mate for VP and you are sitting in a
room posting in newsgroups?

Barack Hussein Obama might be able to buy and steal the office of
POTUS but Sarah Palin will be President in 4 years. That is if we're
still a country in 4 years.

There's a very good chance Barry Obama will succumb to the HIV virus
he's hiding from the American people before 2012.

Poor little robby. The poor dumb sap still thinks I live in Houston.
Just for the record I was in Uvalde Texas last weekend. This weekend
I'll be in Kentucky. The miserable excuse for a white man promised to
tell me where he'd be so I could come get my face smashed into the
curb by his negro butt buddy. Not a peep from robby. Quiet as a
churchmouse. I guess the poor ignorant sack of catshit thinks I'm
gonna drive a 12 hour round trip from Uvalde just so I can have the
pleasure of sending him and his dickhead bumping buddy to the promised
land. Hey robby, unlike you I have a life. You need to stop seeing
yourself as a modern day 60's radical "Bill Ayers" wannabe that can
change the course of history and give in to the fact that you're
nothing but another pseudo-educated,long haired,smelly,dope
smoking,metro-sexual pissant loser. You've reached your peak. You're
the best you'll ever be boy. I feel sorry for you. Drop dead.

Actually the Christmas Pardons thing was Bush senior.

What? no war crimes? You've only presented a list of things he was
accused of by the rabid dog republican lynch mob.

BTW thanks once again to REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT RICHARD MILHOUSE NIXON for

So many others in that list and you snipped and ran.

Any reason why you ignored all the other Democrats in the list?

You're an obedient socialist, true to your party.

The GOP base?

You mean the KKK Christians?

Like *this* fella:

She may be able to rally the "GOP base", but that only serves to turn
off the rational GOP voters, wghich is why McCain is tanking in all the
polls:
