I'm just curious. After watching her temper-tantrum toward Whitney on
Tuesday, is there anyone who really feels sorry for Gwen? (Not the same
question as 'was Theresa wrong?' Of course she was. Well, ethically,
anyway.)

For myself, I miss the days when both characters were more sympathetic.
Lately, I've been rooting for the one I hate less, not the one I like
more, and that's too much like politics.

Sympathy for Gwen now? Ha! Just wait until all of her actions come
home to roost.

The day will come when Ethan will learn of Gwen's part in the
malicious exposure of his parentage.

The day will come when there will be a paternity test on Little Ethan.

Gwen used her first pregnancy to extort Ethan into marriage. She lost
Sarah from trying to throttle Theresa. Now a pregnancy is being used
to extort Gwen in turn. It's not right that what goes around comes
around. It nonetheless does.

Of course my first memory of Ethan is of him burning a "No Fires" sign
on the beach. Me, I think pyschotic Theresa deserves better. That
Gwen might be married to a man who's seen beyond her facade, that
would be truely nice.

I do because I know she's gonna wind up on the losing in. After all, it's gonna
be less than couple of weeks when Ebitch totally breaks his wedding vows.

Anyway you cut it, Gwen's gonna wind up the loser. So, yeah, I feel bad for
Gwen.

Am I imagining this, or has Gwen NOT been told of possible twins? Theresa could bargain for L'il Ethan with one twin, and keep the other as a 'gift of love' from Ethan.

That would still keep Gwen on the losing side of this new mess, and give Theresa more gloating rights.

Ethan forgave Ivy and she's the one who had more obligations than anyone to

Ivy's credited with doing what she did out of love: for her father she'd
married Julian.

Rebecca & Gwen had acted with malice, Rebecca's joyful, Gwen's
deliberate, revealing to the world rather than to Ethan directly and
framing Theresa for the revelation.

Yeah? Is this spoiler info or something? 'Cause while I'd buy it from
Ethan, I'll be very disappointed if Theresa caves that easily. I *like*
her with her new hate-on for Ethan. (And I can't imagine anyone else
letting Ethan into bed.)

*nod* I understand that. My problem is, she didn't have to lose, but she's
got such an issue with Theresa that if Ethan *wasn't* guilty of everything
she accused him of, I'm pretty sure he'd have divorced her for being so
psycho by now.

Sympathy for Gwen? No way. It's a blessing she doesn't have a child, because
no child on earth deserves a mother like her. Not only did she kill her first
child for the sake of wreaking vengeance on Theresa, but she wants Ethan to go
to court to force Theresa to have her second child brutally murdered in the
womb. I wouldn't let this woman pet-sit for me.

I know that there are those who think Gwen deserves better than Ethan. I think
it's the other way around. Ethan has his faults and character weaknesses, but
her doesn't deserve to be married to someone as blackhearted as Gwen. IT's too
bad he was dumb enough to marry her in the first place.

I wouldn't go that far, but really - all she has to do is be patient.
9 months later, she takes custody and kicks Theresa to the curb and
keeps all 2-3 children.

Thank you for your service. Hope the birth hurt a LOT. Now get lost.

But then again, what guarantee do we have that Theresa will give up
*any* baby when the time comes. We all know that in real life
sometimes even women who become surrogates with the best of intentions
end up bonding with the baby and don't want to give it up; what's to
stop Theresa from having similar feelings? And of course, being
Theresa, she'll be able to come up with a million rationalizations for
why both this baby and Little Ethan belong with her rather than with
Etha and Gwen.

Well, that sucks. All I can really do is hope it's wrong, or one of those
fake-out scenes, or something. 'Cause this is probably my only chance in
the whole run of the show to think that Theresa is above doing something,
and it's a nice change of pace.

And then there's the possibility of fraternal twins. Theresa might be
carrying Fox's as well. Or E-and-G's might not survive and Theresa
might only have Fox's and it be presumed to be E&G's, as Little Ethan is

I still feel sorry for her that she lost her baby, that Theresa

child.

Gwen's rant towards Whitney was understandable if you look at what's
happened to her.

*shrug*

I'm still looking forward to this surrogate storyline though.

IMO, the worst one in all of this is Ethan the Eunuch.

Actually, I'm all for Whitney being pregnant by her half-brother, as it'd be
one heck of a storyline. I remember about two or three years ago, Charity
had a premonition about that happening. Only time will tell, I guess. A
LOT of time, at the rate the stories goes, and when they get resolved. Eh,
I still love the show to where I have to tape it every day, as it's my

Or since it was the real surrogate and not Theresa who had all the
preliminary tests done, Theresa could have been pregnant by Fox, they showed
them together at least once, the implantation did not work and she is
actually having Fox's baby.

Charity had a premonition about Whit being pregnant by her half brother? Or

I don't believe this situation, or anything that Theresa or anyone else has
done, has changed Gwen. She's always been a manipulative, controlling,
scheming, self-absorbed little twit, and I've never had a shred of compassion
for her.

The loss of Sara, while tragic, was an accident. Theresa did not "attack" her,
she was trying to get away when Gwen jumped her. Gwen was trying to kill
Theresa, not the other way around. I'm not saying that Sara's death was the
result Gwen intended, but the fact remains that if Gwen had not attacked
Theresa, if she had in fact stayed in the hospital like she was supposed to do,
her baby could be alive now. Sara's death was a direct result of her actions,
not Theresa's.

The destruction of the entire Lopez-Fitzgerald family, taking Ebait away from
Theresa--Gwen was a willing, even enthusiastic, participant in all of this.
She deserves whatever it is she gets, up to and including a messy, painful,
violent and slow demise. I would never wish death on a real person, but Gwen's
a fiction, so I can wish her all the harm I want without guilt. Here's hoping
Beth or Alastair or some other psycho-of-the-week disembowels Gwen with a rusty
spork.

The premonition was back when Simone first saw Chad and Whitney together.
Right before that, and getting hit by a car, Charity was dreaming and had a
series of premonitions. One of them was of Simone getting hit, and another
was of Whitney sitting in a rocking chair with a baby, asking God how He
could let this happen, how He could allow her to be pregnant with her
brother's baby.

When you get Hidden Passions, be warned that the show does not follow the
book, unfortunately. One HUGE difference is how in the book, Eve is
presumably the only daughter of a Harvard professor and something else
(can't remember), and they were very well off. However in the show, she
has, of course, a sister, and her family grew up poor. However, the stories
in the book is very interesting. I loved the parts when Julian and Ivy
first meet, as well as when T.C. and Eve meet.

Theresa never signed the surrogacy (sp) agreements (as far as I know).
I believe any child a woman gives birth to is legally hers.
Just as any child born to a married couple is the legal responsibility
of the husband (DNA test not available LOL). I think Gwen and Ethan
will be required to adopt their child.

That being said I am sure Gwen and Ethan could sue for custody and win,
as Theresa has already lost custody of her son. Let's face it with a
crooked judge they can get anything they want. ~ Lynn~

Katherine, Sheridan's mom, and it also mentions the car accident that T.C.
had that has forever damaged his knee. It also goes into detail about Sam,
Ivy, and Julian. Since it's been awhile since I've read it, I can't
remember a whole lot more. Besides, I don't want to ruin the whole book for
you. :-) Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

Yes it fills in some questions, but not all, and some do not seem to echo what we have seen in the show. I didn't get into the show until shortly before Timmy became a real boy...no idea how long back that happened.

I'm past midway, not too far from where Eve lost her child, which doesn't seem to be the same as Eve and Julian's flashbacks in the show. It also has Julian as graduating law school yet he does not seem to have legal skills in the show as near as I can tell.

I am enjoying the book. It is written in an odd style with Timmy critiquing what Tabitha has written in her diary. There is suppose to be a timeline in the back for following events but so far I've resisted looking at the back. ;-P

Gives some nice information on Grace and her Twin sister, and Ivy and Sam's bond, plus lots more.

At this point, they probably could get away with twins or more. She is
really showing and you can tell in spite of what they have been doing to
hide her real life pregnancy.

Because it is more about revenge and making Teresa feel the pain of losing
her child than it is about getting her out of her life.

Hi, yes I do. Theresa has gone to too many lengths to be destructive. I don't care what I feel entitled to, I don't have the right to heckle anybody.
