Here's a selection of my Best & Worst of OZ. No doubt, people will agree on
some and disagree on others.
I'd like to know what people think.

Favourite Character:
1. Adebisi
2. O' Reilly

Worst Character:
1. Alvarez
2. Keller

Worst Non-prisoner
1. Sister Peter-Murray
2. Father Macado

Best Actor
1. Beecher
2. Said

Worst Actor
1. Kenny a.k.a Bricks (I got it right!)
2. Leo Glen

Best Character (but not seen enough of)
1. Raul Hernandez a.k.a El CID
2. Arnold Jackson a.k.a Poet

Most Evil
1. Schillenger (I got the spelling right!)
2. Governor Devlin

Most Shocking Scene
1. Alvarez taking the eyes of Rivera
2. Richie Hanlon getting his jugular vein slashed in the shower
3. Beecher getting his bones broken

Most Annoying Character
1. Shirley Balanger
2. Sister Peter-Murray

Best Non-Prisoner
1. Tim Mcmanus
2. Kate Howells

*Must admit the non-prisoners are pretty boring*

Strangest murder
1. Yuri Kosigyn stabbing Cuttney in the neck with his glasses
2. Beecher slashing Metzger with his fingernails

Best Character to have a limited part in OZ:
1. Snake
2. 'Jiggy' Walker

Great list! Even though I disagree with a few, particularly:

> Worst Character:
> 1. Alvarez
> 2. Keller

Keller rocks! Why don't you like him?

> Best Actor
> 1. Beecher
> 2. Said

Can't argue with this, they're both great.

> Worst Actor
> 1. Kenny a.k.a Bricks (I got it right!)
> 2. Leo Glen

Oh God, I am *so* with you on this, particularly Kenny. "Bricks" must
die. Or at least continue to share a pod with Adebisi.

> Best Character (but not seen enough of)
> 1. Raul Hernandez a.k.a El CID
> 2. Arnold Jackson a.k.a Poet

Gotta disagree with El Cid. In my opinion, we see *waaaaaay* too much of
this annoying little psychopath.

> Strangest murder
> 1. Yuri Kosigyn stabbing Cuttney in the neck with his glasses
> 2. Beecher slashing Metzger with his fingernails

And was #2 completely implausible or what?

I don't think he contributes much to 'OZ'. I admit he is fairly new, but
he's not a very interesting character - he's abit 'ordinary', in my opnion.
Plus, I don't like his acting.

I like EL CID, he's a cool character and a good actor. Unfortunately, the OZ
writers do not feature him enough in the storylines - he has never had a
central role in any storyline - which is disappointing.

Wow, to me he is so *not* ordinary. He's a cold-blooded killer with a
killer smile. He's like a wild animal pretending to be tamed. I find him
a fascinating character. His whole explanation to Sister Peter Marie of
why he needs Beecher to love him was simultaneously pitiful and
endearing.

True, so far his appearances have been linked only to Miguel's
storyline. He is a good actor, but I don't like the character. I guess I
just hate what he did to Miguel.

How about Sean Murphy? I don't think we know that much about him yet. He
hasn't done much other than all that shit with O'Reily. I'd love to see more
of him (hmph!)

BTW, I disagree about JD (Kenny Wangler) Williams being a bad actor. The

I think Clayton is annoying too. He's boring too, no charisma not
likeable at all. I thought Dino was going to be an enduring character.
He had everything great for a badass OZ character. To this day, I am
surprised they only gave Seda one episode.

Kenny's horrible, but I think JD's a really good actor. He's brilliant during
middle season 3, when he finds out his wife cheated on him, and he kills her
and her abusive boyfriend. I think that story could have been garbage without a
good performance in the center, and he made it work.

I love Poet, we never get to see enough of him.

1. Poet
2. Sean Murphy

>Most Evil

1. Adebisi
2. Schillinger

>Most Shocking Scene

1. Beecher throwing the chair through Vern's plate-glass pod window.
2. The riot scenes, especially Ryan smashing a hack with grating, and that
overweight guy being tripped. The entire sequence made my pulse quicken.
3. Beecher's bones being broken.

I liked Snake. I wonder if season 3 would have been any different if he'd stuck
around.

1. Jefferson Keane. Incomparable. The story, the acting, it reached heights
I've rarely seen in television or film.
2. Judge Lima, the judge who sentenced Beecher.

It's Bricks! Get it right! Ha! Ha!

He's an okay character, but he couldn't act when he found out his wife was
cheating on him - you could tell he was struggling with that emotional scene
when his mum tells him the news.

True, he does act that scene well, but he just hasn't been involved in any
interesting storylines.

SKA,

Annie and Katy are right. It's rather simple, why don't you just look it up
on any respectable website or newspaper article featuring OZ? I presume
that you have some modicum of Internet access, being able to parade around
Usenet telling people that they are "illiterate," so why can't you just look
it up? It's not that hard. Just to confirm it, here's the HBO OZ website,
with the character profile/show synopsis for Vern Schillinger:
http://www.hbo.com/oz/cmp/charac_schillinger.html

Sheesh.

Listen up!

I know it's spelt with an 'e'. I was just experimenting to see what sort of
a response I got.

I wanted to know how big an issue it was that I got the spelling wrong!

I can't believe people can be so petty that they take the time to write an
email telling someone how to spell a name properly - don't you have anything
better to do? Obviously not!

There are some really annoying people on this newsgroup!

I bet someone will now respond to this posting - please don't bother - do
something more worthwhile with your time.
