I LOVED what Bo said to Clint about how Asa was always after the women
he was involved with, and Clint is taking up where Asa left off. For
once, Carlivati's beloved show history was invoked in the way it
should be!
Did anybody else think that Clint should have been the one to move to
the Palace, leaving the house for Bo, Nora, Matthew and Dani? I mean
really. It's a helluva lot easier to move one person than two adults
and two kids, one in a wheelchair.
Did anybody else think that maybe Mitch had met his match in Stacy? I
loved how she was not even close to being intimidated by him, and she
matched his oily smarmy-ness step-for-step. I also thought it was
perfect for her to feel the first twinges of motherly affection for
her child when Mitch said he wanted it. For once, she seemed surprised
that she could actually feel some protectiveness for her child. I
thought her gesture, covering her belly with her arm, was perfectly
understated and instinctive.
I also liked it when I saw a glimmer of conscience/remorse from Kim,
Queen of the Skanky Hoes when Clint called her out on all her lies.
You could tell that she was debating telling him more lies to cover
her tracks, but decided to take a chance and tell him the truth. I
also saw what I think could be called a glimmer of respect for Clint,
whom she had only seen as a mark and nothing else. I also loved it
when he said that he had boots older than her! Ha! What a great line.
And finally, I loved it that it was very clear that Mitch has no idea
that Stacy's baby is not Rex's. I always love it when somebody as smug
and superior as he has always been is set up for a surprise that he
did not anticipate or have a plan for. I foresee a great come-uppance
coming, and if it turns out well, I might, MIGHT, mind you, forgive
Carlivati for putting the Mitch Lawrence re-treads on the wheels of
the show. Maybe.
Happy holidays, everyone!

Another cute throwback was Renee explaining to Nigel the multilayered
implications of calling Renee "Madam". (lol)....
Asa used to consistently pursue the women Bo was with, as Bo stated.
Clint should have left, however, he wasn't trying to accomodate Nora
and Bo, given he felt they betrayed him.
I think Clint was able to get the truth out of Kim because he got her
drunk. He said he had purpose to Nigel when he left to go to her
apartment. I think Kim may not have revealed the truth had she not
lost the drinking match and been sober. I do think she has a new
found respect for her "mark". It was nice to see one of her plans
backfire (to some degree).
While I mostly agree with you about the Mitch/Stacey scene, I don't
think he has met his match in her. She is in part feuled my ignorance/
dillusions which he will eventually outwit. I am disappointed at how
Mitch is being used since he is back. The Stacey/Mitch plot will make
him more interesting to watch. The irony was cutting as he told Fish,
that Fish would never experience the joys of parenthood (or
grandparent hood). I hope we soon see a scene where Fish thinks
about being a parent.
Happy Holidays to all! And thanks for the great post Julinoe!!!

Not only that but Nora DOES own the house to begin with! It was left
to her by Asa.
They did address that on the show where Nora said she would never take
the Buchanan family home from him.
So it sound to me like she is just going to give it back to him. She
could have stood her ground and kicked him out and would have been
well within her legal rights, but I think her guilt for breaking his
heart won out.

That's what I get for using fast-forward so much. Missed that
conversation. But with the stripper-twins on so much right now, I fast-
forward a lot anymore.
I am not a fan of Stacy and I wish she would go away but for some
reason Kim is kinda growing on me.
