With Internet speculation swirling that Llanview's tumultuous teen
couple Starr Manning and Cole Thornhart may soon be out the door, the
actors behind two of "One Life to Live's" most popular characters
tackle the rumors surrounding their future with the show.
For almost a decade, Kristen Alderson has literally grown up before
the eyes of "One Life" fans as the troubled daughter of reformed
rapist Todd Manning. Now the 18-year-old actress is ready to advance
to the next stage of her career, venturing into primetime. However,
Alderson admits that, while interested in pursuing guest appearances
in after dark network television, she is content on staying true to
her daytime roots, telling Soap Opera Digest that "I'm definitely not
planning to leave 'One Life to Live.'"
As for Brandon Buddy, reports indicate that the actor, who made his
"OLTL" debut in 2006 as the son of Marty Saybrooke and Patrick
Thornhart, also has no plans to leave Llanview anytime soon. That
appears to be the story, despite speculation that the daytime sudser
may be planning to kill off the character of Cole. Instead, it appears
that Buddy will remain with the show for the foreseeable future, and
that viewers can expect to see more of Cole in the weeks and months
ahead.
Matt Drago will return to "OLTL" in the coming months in a dayplayer
capacity. Drago, who appeared as a Rodi's Patron last month, posted in
his blog for the week of May 17th that "...tomorrow I will be back on
set in 'One Life to Live'!" The soap regularly tapes approximately six
weeks in advance.
The recently released audition script for the role of Elijah Kent
looks to be for a new lawyer. Also, another audition script has just
been released by "OLTL," this time for the role of a Rabbi.

John Rue and January LaVoy resurface as Moe and Noelle Stubbs on
Tuesday, June 9, when Dorian Lord makes a confession to the couple.
Teenage drug dealer Asher (Evan Joiner) returns on Friday, June 12,
when the pill pusher approaches one of his best customers.
Also on June 12, veteran "OLTL" castmember Patricia Elliott pops up
again, when Renee Buchanan has an idea concerning two of Llanview's
favorite couples.
Ada Maris and David Pinon first air as Aurelia and Ernesto Rivera as
son Markko marks an important milestone in his life.
A. Martinez ends his run as Ray Montez on Wednesday, June 10.
Expect Kathy Brier and Chris Stack (Marcie and Michael McBain) to air
at least through Wednesday, June 17. Look for a few unexpected
surprises for the couple before they exit Llanview together.
"One Life to Live" has released two new casting calls. The first is
for the role of 'Serge.' Remember that the soap routinely changes
character names in audition scripts to attempt to throw off viewers.
The scene opens with 'Serge' frisking 'Caleb' and 'Adam.' Visibly
upset, Caleb demands to know what is the meaning of this since he
already gave him all his money. Adam responds that he is looking for a
wire, causing Serge to blurt out to Caleb that he should answer his
own questions. Serge goes on to tell Caleb that his buddy informed him
that 'Jake Kelly' turned his back on him. Jake is a cop/bartender and
refused to train Adam to be his assistant because he is a drug addict.
Caleb confides in Serge that he and Jake are no longer as good of
friends as they used to be. He also says that Jake is dating his mom,
and manages to act all buddy-buddy and fatherly with him, despite the
fact that he just sat on his hands when he got arrested for drug
possession. Caleb responds to Serge's questioning by stating that his
mom hired a really good lawyer, who was able to keep him from serving
much jail time. As the scene ends, Caleb informs Serge that he now has
a criminal record, is unemployed, and has some bills he needs to pay.
It appears that, by the tone of the script, Cole may be involved.
The second casting call is for the role of Elijah Kent. Details on
this casting call were not available

Jessica's baby trauma has at least one positive, if unexpected,
consequence. "It makes Charlie step up and say 'We need some happiness
and some joy in this family, so Viki, isn't it time the two of us got
married'" says Ron Carlivati. But Jess's problems are far from over
and could derail her mom's plans. "Jess has all of this guilt about
the baby switch". "So the big question is: Is she going to completely
lost it? Will Jessica shatter? Will another alter emerge?"
With his feelings for Marty growing, John's gonna have to choose
between the former anmesiac and his current wife. "He's going to be
pulled in two directions" says RC. "Blair really needs John to help
her hold onto those kids, so it's not going to be easy". Meanwhile,
with Blair living at Todd's even as his relationship with Tea heads to
"another level", Starr's mom has to re-examine her feelings for her
ex." "Poor Blair, wait until you see what we do to her!"
Sure, Nora is planning to marry Clint but what about her relationship
with Bo. "Bo tries to take the engagement at face value, and he thinks
Nora has made her choice". "Is he going to back off?" Meanwhile,
Rachael starts dating Shaun, but romance may be on the horizon in the
form of his brother, Dr. Greg. RC says things will get complicated,
esp. since Shaun hates his sibling. "You'll see why when Greg gets
into town".
RC wouldn't spill who will wind up raising Hope, but he did drop a big
ol' hint. "Starr is someone who is very loyal and very very unlikely
to go back on her promise to Marcie." "And we want Michael and
Marcie's exit to be a happy one".

all looking like a family.

Everyone likes to spend the summer at a big country manse, and David
Vickers is no different. He's packing his bags and heading to LAX so
he can fly home to Llanview for a little one-on-one time with his
favorite ladies, like Dorian and Viki.
We don't know exactly what David's got up his sleeve this time, but we
do know it involves several of the show's core families -- and he's
not just in town for a vacation from his HAVE-A-SEAT spokesman duties.
This will also be David's first time back in Llanview knowing he's a
full-blooded Buchanan.
******
Is Tuc Watkins headed back to Llanview for another of his signature
brief stints as David Vickers Buchanan on the ABC soap? While not yet
confirmed by either the soap or the network, several media outlets are
reporting that the popular daytime actor will show up in Llanview at
some point this summer and will interact with several familiar
Llanview residents. Among them are paw Bo (Robert S. Woods), little
brother Matthew (Eddie Alderson), former stepmother Nora (Hillary B.
Smith), best friend Viki (Erika Slezak), and estranged wife Dorian
(Robin Strasser), each in their respective storylines.
A first airdate has been announced for Catherine Hickland's return to
"One Life to Live." Look for Hickland's on-air persona Lindsay
Rappaport to potentially throw a monkey wrench into Clint and Nora's
engagment beginning Friday, June 9th, according to Toby Goldstein of
Tribune Media Sevice's The Soap Scene. On her Twitter page, Hickland
alerted fans last Friday that she was "Back in New York City! Just
read the scripts for ONE LIFE TO LIVE for next week. My scripts are
GOOD! Hallelujah!" The actress also commented that it will be
difficult for Lindasy to cause too much trouble considering that she
was still incarcerated in Statesville Prison, and that she would be
posting her upcoming "OLTL" airdates as soon as they were available.
With the baby Chloe/Hope storyline beginning to draw to a close,
viewers may be left wondering what the future holds for Tess, Maddie,
and Molly Sullivan, the triplets who portray Starr Manning's (Kristen
Alderson) adorable baby girl. Well wonder no more. Alderson posted a
picture Tuesday on her Twitter page of her holding one of the three
infants who portray her alter ego's daughter. Since "OLTL" regularly
tapes approximately 4-6 weeks in advance, look for these scenes
sometime in July. In addition, Alderson also used her Twitter page to
dispel rumors that she may soon be leaving Llanview by commenting that
she was "def. not leaving one life. they would have to throw me out
haha"
TVGuide Canada is reporting that "a major star from the past will be
returning to the soap ['OLTL'] this fall."
Dayplayer soap actor Matt Drago will be popping up again soon in
Llanview. The actor, whose previous appearance in the fictional soap
town was as a Rodi's parton, proves that he likes variety by taping
scenes as a Buenos Dias Cafe Patron for episode #10,469, which should
air around July 1st.
Several new casting calls have been released in recent days for "One
Life to Live." Among them is one for the role of "Ford." Remember that
the soap frequently switches character names in these scripts to
confuse viewers. As the scene opens, "Ford apparently plants herself
on "Nancy's" doorstep with a camera crew, prompting Nancy to ask if
they are on the air at that very moment. Ford informs Nancy that she
hopes that they can do a reality show together called "The Real Ladies
of Llanview," which does not appear to be greenlighted as of yet by
the network. Nancy, however, has no idea what exactly Ford is talking
about. After confronting her, Ford tells her that a pilot for the show
is being filmed, and that the network has decided to go live for the
season finale. Ford goes on to tell Nancy that she wants to make her
the star of the show. Having her doubts however, Nancy accuses Ford of
only wanting to exploit her and her family for her own benefit. Ford
assures her that it will be nothing more than a camera crew following
Nancy and her family around and recording their everyday activities.
Nancy fires back that she will not allow her family to become a
laughingstock and that the concept has the network's fingerprints all
over it. Afterward, she abruptly kicks Ford to the curb as the scene
draws to a close.
Other recently released audition scripts include a "Rabbi," who may or
may not be marrying Nora and Clint; "Elijah Kent," who is a new
Llanview lawyer, and for the role of "Summer."

Dorian reveals to Moe and Noelle that she has grown to appreciate and
respect Ray. However, she is heartbroken when Ray informs her that he
is leaving town. A miserable Dorian can't seem to steer clear of happy
couples.
Baby Hope is returned to her excited, nervous parents. Blair realizes
that her daughter is having second thoughts about giving away her
baby, while Cole holds his baby for the first time. Meanwhile, Marcie
and Michael each make promises to the other that their love will never
die. Although she has been experiencing conflicting emotions, Starr
ultiamtely signs the adoption papers. Cole holds Starr as she breaks
down in his arms. At Llanfair, Jessica is overwraught with guilt over
Chloe's death. Vowing to stand beside the woman he loves through her
heartwrenching ordeal, Broday assures Jessica that he is there to
stay. However, Jessica asks him how he could possibly love her
considering what has happened. Jessica mourns her loss, and comes to
terms with her sister's actions in keeping the truth from her. At the
same time, Natalie makes amends with Marcie and Michael. As Starr
reveals to Langston that she had to push herself to sign the adoption
papers, Marcie begins to feel bad for Starr. Coles spots Michael and
Hope together at the diner. Later, Marcie accidently overhears
Langston inform Markko of Starr's hesitation. Jessica finds some joy
in spending time with Brody and Bree. Starr and Cole grow closer as
they grieve. Marcie informs Michael that they need to have a talk
concerning what is best for Hope. Afterward, Starr is surprised to
find Marcie at her door with the baby.
Todd and Blair call a truce in honor of their grandchild, however it
proves to be short-lived, as the pair battle for custody of their
children. Todd reminds Blair that legally, he still has custody of
them, however Blair is able to convince him to allow Starr to stay
with her, considering everything she has been through. After walking
out with Jack and Sam, Todd visits Ta in the hospital and welcomes
her to stay with him and the boys. Meanwhile, Marty holds nothing back
when she tells John exactly how she feels about him. As Marty informs
him that she hopes they can pick up where they left off, Blair
searches for John so that they can discuss their marriage. At the same
time, Ta catches up with Viki, whom she tells that Todd is her one
true love. Ta moves into Todd's guest room while she recovers,
telling him that she won't sleep with him again until she is back to
her old self. Across town, John makes it clear to a remorseful Blair
that there's will be a marriage in name only, and later tells Marty
that he is ready to be with her. Blair, meanwhile, feels even more
depressed upon seeing Todd, Ta. and the boys looking and acting very
much like a family. Marty is called to the witness stand at Todd and
Blair's custody hearing. After giving her testimony, she arrives at
Llanview High just as Cole is about to graduate. However, he is
disheartened that his real diploma won't arrive until after he passes
summer school. Following the ceremony, Cole bumps into Asher while on
the docks.
Next week:
The judge is firm with Todd and Blair.
Ta blasts Todd for jepordizing her career.
Cole lands himself in hot water.
Marcie has a change of heart concerning the baby.
Michael and Marcie are happy.
An inebriated Dorian crashes Langston's party.

Sources close to Gina Tognoni say that the Emmy winner is thisclose to
signing a contract with One Life to return as Kelly Cramer Buchanan.
"She turned down two offers from CBS soaps," says an insider. The buzz
is the other two soaps were Y&R and B&B. Is this a bad move on
Tognoni's part considering One Life may not be on the air in three
years? "No, she wants to stay in New York with her new husband,"
continues the mole. Look for the actress on the ABC soap sometime
later this fall if all goes according to plan.
Tuc Watkins (David) is headed back to Llanview this summer. Word is
that One Life will be creating a reality TV show within the soap
titled, The Real Ladies of Llanview, which will somehow involve David.
******
You've been waiting for it, and now it's time: Starr is finally
reunited with her baby girl, Hope. Yes, she holds the child in her
arms and everything! But kidnapping drama turns to adoption drama this
week as Starr hands over Hope to Marcie, thus honoring her promise to
do so. Most everyone (even Todd, sort of) is in agreement that it's
the right thing to do, but they are all still rocked emotionally.
Marty sidles up to the bar at Rodi's and seeks comfort from John,
while Blair and Todd reconnect over their shared feelings of loss.
Starr and Cole aren't having an easy time of it either, and Starr's
beginning to wonder if she should have signed away her child at all.
Even Marcie is having her doubts. She returns to La Boulaie with baby
Hope, ready to give Starr a second chance to raise her daughter. Will
Starr take Marcie up on her offer?
However, these are all the emotions of people relieved to know the
child is alive. Jessica, on the other hand, must confront the
devastating news that her precious baby Chloe really died that night
at Nash's vineyard cottage -- and that the resulting baby switch was
all her fault, since she couldn't deal with the emotional trauma. Will
Viki, Brody, and the rest of the Llanfair crew be able to prevent
Jessica from descending into a permanent Blanche DuBois-style madness
now that she's facing the greatest trauma of all?
But life must go on, so Charlie decides it's time to pop the question
to Viki (he's been holding on to the ring since he unveiled the Buenos
Dias Cafe!). Will Our Lady of Llanfair say yes ... or will she be too
distracted by all the other drama to give it serious thought? And
that's not the only wedding wackiness this week -- because Clint is
pressuring Nora to move up the wedding in his bid to get Bo out of the
picture. But is Bo EVER really out of the picture, especially where
Nora's concerned?
It's hot, hot, HOT Dorian action this week as she reels from the news
that her Latin lover Ray is headed back to Colombia with his
psychopath daughter. Dorian gets mucho, mucho angry and rants and
raves ... and even smashes a wine glass in her bare hands!
And the relationship we've been waiting for since she first got blown
up in an IRA car bombing comes to fruition this week. Yes, John and
Marty finally speak honestly about their mutual attraction. Now if
only he wasn't still married to Blair. But that's easy enough to
solve, right? Well, not so fast, because half the town gets hauled
back into court for another Manning custody hearing; everyone who's
anyone is taking the stand. And no one will foresee the ruling that
gets handed down by the judge.
All this, PLUS: Markko gives the valedictory speech at his graduation;
Cole gets a tempting offer from his former drug dealer Asher; and
Shane stumbles upon Schuyler and Gigi in a compromising position.
******
The mother of Sullivan triplets Maddie, Tess, and Molly (the adorable
babies who portray Hope Manning McBain) has posted new upcoming
airdates for the tiny tots. Viewers can watch "OLTL" on June 5th, 8th,
11th, 12th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 19th, and 29th, along with July 20th and
22nd, to try and determine which triplet is which.
OLTL is looking to cast the character of "Griffin." Keep in mind that
"OLTL" switches character names in audition scripts. Nonetheless, it
appears that Llanview is about to get some gay characters. The scene
opens with "Griffin" and "Daniel" in a bar on their first date. He
tells Daniel that his friends are welcome to join them, to which he
replies that they are not his buds. Daniel goes on to say that where
they are is fine, even though the jukebox has only old songs on it. He
then apologizes for so uptight and tells Griffin that he's not usually
like that, but that he hasn't been out on a date in forever. This
catches Griffin by suprise, and he tells Daniel that he seems like the
kind of guy that really has it going on. Daniel says that he used to,
but that his social life has been non-exsistant lately. Griffin starts
to ask him about his last boyfriend, and Daniel responds that the
break-up has left him suspicious of other guys. He then tells Griffin
that his ex is a great guy, but that he keeps things bottled up, and
is still in the closet. Afterward he says that he is not usually this
bitter and that he can take care of himself. When Griffin replies that
he knows, Daniel asks where he heard that since they only met earlier
that day. Griffin says that after Daniel left the gym, a male cop
approaches him and urges him to watch his back. Daniel asks him if the
cop was cute and had short blond hair. When Griffin responds in the
affirmative, Daniel confesses that he and the cop have a long history
together. End of scene. Could this script involve Kyle and Fish?
