His demeanor got better right away. The day after treatment started he
was back to his old self in most respects. He's affectionate and seems
happy and, most notably, stopped hiding under the bed like he does when
he's sick, and resumed spending most of the day out in the open with us.
It's just that he hasn't started *eating* normally yet. He shows some
tiny interest in may of his old favorite veggies but won't eat anywhere
*near* his normal portions. He shows *no* interest in hay whatsoever.
And we're pretty certain he still can't poop without the Reglan.
When our vet's office opens tomorrow we're going to look into an appetite
stimulant, but our concern is growing with every day that passes and he
rejects food.
Has anyone else had any experience with long-term stasis? How much longer
can we expect this to continue?

Good luck!

I'll have to try that. FiberCon isn't doing a thing for me.

Go to your closest drug store and get a bottle of Magnesium Citrate....I
promise.....it'll work...and while you're out....get a good book cause yer
gonna be sitting awhile.
My husband was a Home Health Tech...believe me.....it works! I had to take
it once before a surgery....and it really solves any "problems" in that
area!

TC..I downloaded "Baby Girl" and you're right...the songwriting is
comparable to JBJ's early stuff...like "Living On A Prayer"....nothing for a
Nobel but very good lyrics none the less.

Sorry about the misfire, guys. I'm sure the contributors to
alt.pets.rabbits are equally confused about my posts on McDowell's rack!
Now there's something I wouldn't mind helping you with.
