A major botch job for Nickelodeon tonight...one of the segments of tonight's
"Amanda Show" was Judge Trudy, which featured a space shuttle commander
whose ship was commandeered by a young boy. Judge declares that the
astronaut be rocketed to Venus in a makeshift rocket. As he boards the
rocket, he asks Judge Trudy, "Is it safe?"

Usually "The Amanda Show" is light, frothy, entertainment, and any episode
can be. It's just that this episode ain't the kind of episode Nick should
have shown on the day siz American and one Israeli astronauts perished in
space on re-entry. Unfortunately, the episode with the shuttle gags did air
in the Eastern time zones, and it was replaced by an alternate episode in
the West.

Don't blame Amanda Bynes for this one...blame Nick. This is another
"feather" in a cap full of them. Scheduling screwups, tech gaffes on
"U-Pick", shows that never air...and now the assumed insensitivity to the
tragedy in space.

To add to the story, Nick changed the episode from #232 (the scheduled
episode's identifier number) to #231 (the number of its replacement) in
progress,
during the show's fake commercial...it started out as Super Spitballer 5000,
but quickly turned into Snap Crackle KABOOM! Cereal with no explanation.
Additionally, the end credits for #232 ran after #231 ended. Very sloppy
indeed.

Was that on the eastern feed, or on the west?

That was the West coast feed. The East coast got the whole episode.
