I like The Amanda Show. Even though, I think they should've given Amanda her
own sitcom, but I guess they didn't want to go in the same direction as K&K.

::raises hand:: Not only are the sketches manipulative, negative, tired and
forced, but does every episode have to include a shamless plug for
"www.AmandaPlease.com"? It wasn't funny the first time, it wasn't funny the
second time and...you know what?...not suprisingly, it was worse the third
time.

but why would I want to when you flash it across the viewers for minutes on
end? Good-day.

You pulled the words right out of my mouth. It's obvious that
Amandaplease.com was NOT the original address, so I suppose the writers
said, 'hey, lets make the girl say the word PLEASE all the time'. It's
standard non-sensical All That fare, which makes me wonder why the show
was made at all because it is technically the same show with Amanda
heading every sketch. All That did a few fake commercials in the early
episodes, but they were equally bad as the ones on this show... another
thing about the commercials is that until recently (i.e. the Jeopardy
sketches [two week ago's entire episode with Norm Macdonald was the
funniest in years]), they were the only reason to watch the show as
they ALWAYS had me literally on the floor gasping for air. The
pedestrain air-bag didn't. The thing about the TRP nick shows is that
you have to have a nonsensically crazed sense of humor to find it funny
(not that there's anything wrong with that), which I guess I just don't
have.

own show. It is ridiculous! Nickelodeon could've at least given one of its
