I apologize if this is an old topic...

Can anyone tell me what happened to Lauren Graham's character? Andrea just
disappeared. It seems like after she found out about Dave and Lisa's
relationship, she was just cut from the show. She was such an interesting
character, it was sort of disppointing to see her just cut out like that.
Anyway...

Thanks

No explanation was ever given (unless there's an unaired
episode out there).

But, quite frankly, I don't miss her...
I think the episodes have been better since her departure.

We bitched and bitched and bitched and bitched and bitched about her, and
finally they got rid of her. Yeah, that's exactly what happened.
Yeah...

not really.

I missed an episode and thought it was the one she departed. I cant believe
there was no story behind it. I'm glad shes gone. I thought the show took a
turn for the worse with her.

I think that Andrea was never fully employed by Jimmy James; she was just a
consultant hired by Jimmy to tell him how to make the radio station more
profitable. In this case, it was assumed that she had finished her task and has
left.

Let me put it this way. Andrea is like your accountant whom you never see until
it's nearly tax time or you are being audited. Once tax time is over, you will
never see him again until the following year.

I, too, thought that the character Andrea was a terrible fit for the show.
However I kinda feel bad for the actress who played her (I can't remember her
name). She's a pretty good actress, kinda kooky. Her role of Andrea was
terribly miscast..
She also appeared in the first season of Caroline in the City and starred in
that canceled sitcom Townies.
