It continues the arc that ended the last
season with Gibbs' boat exploding.

(No, they never show how he got it out of his basement,
and... yes, that gets a throwaway mention).

Pam Dawber continues her role as Mark Harmon's wife.
Or something.

Decent enough followup.

It was a pretty good episode, IMO. Sorry I can't say the same about NCIS: Hawaii.
But that apparently was the pilot. I'll give it another couple of views to see if it
improves. If not, sayonara.

i just dont see those 3 carrying this show anymore than they could keep being the #1 NCIS team without Gibbs. too wimpy, too emotional

I agree. Once Gibbs is gone, I don't believe NCIS can hold up. That is apparently
also CBS's view. They certainly greased the skids for an NCIS exit by moving it to
Monday nights and slotting it after 2 comedies.

Episode #2, last night, was... dull, boring, predictable,
with the actors telephoning it in.
